My mom passed away on Valentine's Day of 2024. I called Mountain View to retrieve her from the nursing home where she lived. Justin Williams and Kevin Lynch came and took my mom to the funeral home. They were very attentive, professional, and extremely courteous. Then the next morning I met with Robb Ragan and he took care of the arrangements. Not only are the folks at Mountain View great folks to do business with... I starred to work for them soon after that. Thanks you Wes Hiott and the great people of Mountain View. Funerals and Cremations for fulfilling a life long dream.

I have officiated and attended several different funeral services in the upstate.
Mountain View has been by far one of the best! This was the smoothest running funeral I have ever had the honor to be a part of.
I’m thrilled to know you have a location in Seneca and Pickens!
This team went above and beyond in the largest to smallest of details without complicating anything. I’m not going to list them all due to the fact I’m not able to put them into words but each detail, regardless of its size, made differences that you’ll have to experience for yourself.
I don’t rate services unless they are the best without fail!

One of the best experiences we could have had at what was otherwise one of the worst times in my family's life. Justin and Josh were exceptionally compassionate and helpful from start to finish and seemed to genuinely care that the entire process was as easy for us as possible.

How grateful our family is for the care and service provided to us with the loss of my bonus dad. We reached out to a couple of funeral homes knowing time was limited, Mountain View did not put us on hold or asked if someone could call us back like the others we called. They were flexible with meeting times, answered our questions that I am sure we asked more then once. When the time came for their services, two kind and caring men came and cared for the transportation of my bonus dad. Rob (funeral director) met with us and completed all of the paper work needed and personally committed to take care of my bonus dad. We were not sold services we did not need, they were straight forward and the price quoted was the price paid. The facility in Seneca is beautiful and our family wouldn't think of using anyone else to care for our loved one.

Great place with amazing customer service. They went above and beyond our expectations for the service we wanted with the budget we wanted to stay in. Chapel is so pretty and all the staff went above and beyond. Rob was the best to work with and we are happy with our decision to use them.

My brother lived in Seneca and recently passed away. It was my responsibility to make arrangements for his funeral. I am from out of state and did not know of any funeral home in the area. By good fortune, I called Mountain View Funerals and Cremations in Seneca first. Robb Ragan was the first person I spoke with and handled all of the arrangements for my brother. He explained everything to me in detail, starting with the first item of the process of having my brother cremated to the very last item of the process. He answered every question I asked of him. He was very forthright in the cost of the services. I cannot go on about what a great job Robb and MVF & C did for my brother and for me. Robb was honest, sincere, caring, and professional. And he did all this for a guy who does not live in the area and will more than likely need his services again. I would highly recommend using MVF & C if you are in need of funereal services. Thank you very much Robb.

I appreciate the service provided by Mountain View Funeral Home in Seneca, SC with the recent death of my mother. Robb was very compassionate and dealt with my sister and I with great respect for our loss. He explained everything very clearly and was quick to answer any questions that we had. My mother was treated with care and dignity as if she were his very own mother which was so appreciated.
