Apartment caught on fire, poor management and communication during and before this happened. Mold on ceiling in previous apartment and maintenance requests were very slow to get handled.

Helped my sister move last weekend, and I was appalled at the condition of the complex since she moved in 4 years ago. The maintenance appears nonexistent. Her view for the past year has been the burned building next door. There was mold on all her vents and floorboards; she bleaches them regularly, but the mold keeps growing back because the a/c unit is leaking and management refuses to fix it. She was on the 3rd floor, and the railing was loose and missing several screws that were supposed to hold the rails in place. I have pictures of everything except the rails. It's sad because Clemson Ridge was very nice when she moved in.

We moved in last summer, and the quality of management since then has taken a steep nosedive...Move here if you....1. LOVE TO HAVE YOUR COMPLAINTS GO UNANSWERED! Management is unwilling to address tenant complaints, including those where the lease is being violated by other tenants.2. LOVE NOT KNOWING WHEN THE OFFICE WILL BE OPEN! Office is almost never open when they say they will be.3. LOVE THE SMELL OF CIGARETTE SMOKE ON ALL YOUR BELONGINGS! Tenants DO smoke in their apartments, despite the "No Smoking Addendum" in the lease agreement. Management is unwilling to address this. We have smoke stains on our walls from the neighbors smoking.4. LOVE TO SEE PILES OF DOG POOP EVERYWHERE YOU GO! Maintenance does not keep up with the dog poop trashes, and many residents don't throw their dog poop away properly!5. LOVE WHEN HANDICAPPED PARKING SPOTS ARE TAKEN BY NON-HANDICAPPED RESIDENTS! Most of the handicapped reserved spots are taken by able-bodied residents who are just too lazy to park a couple more spots away, and then get no repercussions from management! If you are someone who wants a healthy and clean apartment to live in that is managed by a responsible team, DO NOT LIVE HERE!

I love this place. The staff is extremely friendly, and the property is extremely well maintained. Ms. Quinn is always super helpful, and maintenance is quick & very responsive. Clemson Ridge is a phenomenal apartment community to live in!

In 2022 this complex was bought by a new management company. They raised rent by a third, shrank the maintenance department, and halved their front office hours. This place used to be alright, but it was ruined by new ownership

WORST PLACE TO EVER RENT FROM!!! The apartment has no lights so you have to provide your own. The front office never fixes anything! Took 9 months to replace a window. Ceiling above dryer was never fixed from previous damage. AC unit was clogged from upstairs apt and they wanted to cut into the bedroom wall. Soaked our floors, Microwave was never replaced. Fridge went out and we had to replace it. and most importantly.... The Electrical Shocks were popping and smoking and sparking. Literally almost caught fire in master bath and in the kitchen. Front off staff, especially Angela Day, is rude and hateful and will lie straight to your face. Apartments are extremely outdated to be charging $1,400 plus a month. They also go into your apartment without giving 24 hour notice as required. Septic wouldn't work in either bathroom. Toilets slide all over the floor. The seats came off the toilets. Sinks stayed clogged no matter what you did. Don't waste your time with this place. The previous company that owned it was decent. the new company that bought them out, is NO Good. Spend your money elsewhere

Apartment smells like urine. Tenants smoke in units. Perfect for lazy dog owners and people who can't or wont follow rules because they're not enforced.

Clemson Ridge was very generous to help me out in my time of need. I signed for the apartment; but within a day my plans changed and I no longer needed the apartment. I never moved into it and I never slept in it. I was truly hoping that they would give me my full deposit and the prorated rate for the rest of the month of July but I guess not. So now I'm out of over $1600 for an apartment that I never lived in. And they were able to rent the apartment out to someone else immediately.

My A/C went out last night , I called the office and spoke with the Property Manager Angela Day. She sent maintenance to my apartment less than an hour later. Maintenance was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. I really appreciate the quick turnaround time. Thanks guys ?

Horrible place to live management is a joke and mantinance is non existent the apartments are run down and have roach's. The apartment manager is a rude older lady that acts like a child and rolls her eyes and sighs when you speak and sometimes will completely ignore you. This complex is a waste of your time and money run far and fast away from Clemson ridge or any of south wood realitys propertys

I have an ongoing dispute with a neighbor that the office fails to address. She leaves anonymous notes on neighbors doors and calls the police on us. It's harassment. And there's black mold everywhere.

My roomate, my dog and I lived at Clemson Ridge for 6 months and we had a great experince. The second bedroom was alot smaller than predicted but I think that can be fixed by adding dimensions to the floorplans they have online. Other than that we haven't really had any complaints its a quite community, managment is very accommodating and responsive (especially when we were moving from diffrent states). I would highly recommed this place to anyone.

Bad maintenance and management. Had a roach problem for months and management insisted on waiting for the once-a-month pest control guy to come. Problem just worsened until we took issues into our own hands. (Always kept our space clean — no food left out or plates in sink.) management blamed it on our upstairs neighbors moving out... Also had 2 occurrences (in the span of a month) of the septic backing up all drains in the apartment. Gross enough to see it in the bath tubs, for management to know it happened with the dishwasher is a health hazard. After moving out we realized how much of our personal property was ruined from mildew/mold from sitting on the ground (we were on the ground level and floor would seep water).During our time here, management would bribe current residents monthly with gift cards to leave good reviews , which speaks volumes.

I've lived here going on 6 years. Watched as the management and maintenance people have changed and in the current state I can without a doubt say it's at the lowest point. The manager lacks professionalism in all respects, is very unorganized, doesn't really give much credence to concerns and in my opinion just shows a lack of desire to fulfill her duties. Maintenance was well lacks professionalism, fall short on quality when it comes to repairs, fall short on regards to timely fixes and over all just lack my confidence in their ability to properly execute their job duties. We had our had forced in renewing our lease but this will be the last time unless management and maintenance change.

I absolutely love living here and feel at home. Thank you!
