“I had a wonderful experience with this boatyard. The staff was very knowledgeable, courteous, and accommodating. They provided a rough estimate on what my jobs historically cost and then refined it once they could see the boat in person. The job's costs came in very close to their estimates for both time and costs. We have a 38' monohull sailboat. They did 4 jobs for me, 1) bottom paint, 2) cutless bearing replacement, 3) polish and wax hull sides, and 4) repair several gelcoat nicks. I don't have much experience on evaluating job costs but I feel satisfied with the value I received. I was unsatisfied with a previous bottom paint job that was performed at a different boatyard. That paint started flaking off after a year or so. I believe the prep work was inadequate. I am hoping this paint job out performs the previous one.”
