“Employees are in a difficult situation but have always been kind or at least courteous. Helped me when I asked. I have to be honest, I don't really spend a lot of time freaking out and gauging how clean or organized the store is. I just go in, get whatever I need that they have grateful for whatever that amounts to, and then go on. I've never had a negative interaction with any employee ever, not once in ten years.”
“I love my local dollar general, mainly because the store closest to me is family dollar and they are always closed because they have no workers, witch is very sad! Mainly because the store has one person stocking, registering, and cleaning the WHOLE store! Come on family dollar! Get it together!”
“For what it is, it is great. Ran in and out for quick snacks. Always seem to be moving items around ( family dollar buyout?). Drink and chips or jerky - in and out. Better than convience store, more variety and slightly cheaper.”
“Stephanie was so helpful and went out of her way to get all of the balloons(it was a lot) I needed for my friends two year old birthday party. She took her time with me and helped me make sure I had everything. She was so patient. I cannot thank her enough.”

“There's a young man that works at this store with outstanding customer service skills... he's the only young man I've ever seen working in there. If I had his name and I knew where to leave a review for their corporate office, I would, he's tremendous! I work for a bank and it will be a pleasure to have that guy working for us!! I was in several higher-end stores today and his customer service skills were by far and away the best among them. I really hope someone takes notice of his work. it would be a shame if it went unnoticed by the owners of the store.”

Like other Dollar General it’s usually the managers that know what to do when you have any type of complicated request.Not the type of place that I would frequent much even for daily use items. Better places to go with better quality.”
“This is one of the Dollar General stores I would HIGHLY recommend! Everything inside, including the manager, cashiers have been the nicest, friendliest people. The store is always stocked, clean, the manager greets everyone that walks in with a big smile. If you ask anyone a question they have an answer. I've been to this location several different times and each time it is the same friendly smile, with someone saying hello ?You will always find it here at this location.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”
“They have new employees in my store & the two young ladies working today were absolutely refreshing. They greeted customers, were very friendly, & they were happily talking & laughing the whole time I was in the store. It was a totally different atmosphere from all the other times with grumpy & griping employees.I really loved my shopping experience today.”

“How is it that you guys don't have a limit on ,Gain,Downy and like name brand medicine packs! I have a couple videos of India and Palestine people go in and buy boxes and boxes of gain ,Tylenol, excedrine ,downy and other stuff. They should be consideret for others !! I will be sending my thoughts and videos to the corporate office. They go and resale this stuff at there stores for like $3 and $4 for the meds and $5 plus for the downy and gain! It's a shame!Thank You!!”
“Coming in to shop after a 12 hour shift & it’s my first time shopping at this location. Mr. James was so delightful!!!! He smiled, he greeted, he had amazing customer service and he showed so much compassion. I thank you for people like him in this cruel world we live in today. Store was neat and organized. “As previously stated in the tip section, this store is somewhat above average for this chain. They have a very large section for cold and refrigerated food. It's well stocked. Plenty of paper products on their shelves. No excess boxes of stuff on the floor. The store condition was nice and clean. As I mentioned, this is an above average store. I wasn't pursued by store associates. As a matter of fact, I only saw one and he was smoking out front!”

“DG is one of the fastest growing companies in the country and it's obvious to me why that is. They have a bunch of cheap garbage for sale out in the middle of nowhere. Their prices are good enough and their rural locations mean I don't have to drive 30 minutes for the basics. It's so convenient that I don't even care that the cashiers look like opioid addicts.”
“First off I'd like to say Amy the store manager is absolutely amazing... very pro active resourceful and helpful.. this dollar is much further away from my home and I personally love the staff here which is why I pass 2 dollar generals just to shop at this one.. lol.. “Normally I go to the one on Skylar drive and am use to not being spoke to except maybe bare minimum. I stopped today to grab some bread at this one on Blackstock. The cashier was so super friendly and helpful. I heard her telling someone she had just started. They have a fantastic one there!. I don't know her name but it'is around noon, if that helps. Store is also not junky as a lot are”

“Me giving a five star review to this chain store is comparable to being abducted by aliens from another planet! After years of disappointment at least one of your locations got it right! No empty shelves! No stock on the floor blocking isles! Very commendable! Friendly, helpful associates! I received a call from my wife asking me to stop and get a few things for a photo shoot of my new third grandson. I attempted a lame excuse because I didn't want the frustration of coming up empty handed with the photographer on the way. Surprise, Surprise, Surprise, as Gomer Pyle would have said it best! I not only found every item requested of me but I also had choices! All of this stuff at great prices; I loved it!”
“This store here is one that I really like. They keep it stocked,clean and the employees are super nice and helpful. They have wheelchair accessibility, parking is convenient and it's not hard to access the property. I would recommend this store to anyone who loves the dollar stores like I do and if you've never been to one please go if you don't like some of them you'll like this one”
“This Dollar General is indeed one cut above the norm for this chain. To my surprise it was almost perfectly stocked! With this group thats a welcome sight! Every isle was neat and fully supplied. They even had a cooler full of milk and other dairy products. The stand out feature for me was the very nice looking Carolina Gamecocks caps! Very nice and appreciated and not seen at any of their other locations today. I would definitely like to do some serious shopping here soon! Thanks! I had a good experience today!”
