I wanted to open a new acct & deposit a larger check. The amount exceeded FDIC, so I asked about daily cash withdrawal limits, bc I’d reduce the amount below FDIC, for my own security. The bank declined opening the acct. keep in mind that I was only asking to withdraw my own money. So, I decided to change to opening a smaller acct…which they also declined bc of my previous request for information about daily cash withdrawal limits. Clearly, they want to keep YOUR money from you. True story.

Managers in the branch don't even have the time to dedicate and reach back out to concerned applicants interviewing for specific roles at their branch location. Highly unprofessional!

Recently relocated from another state to SC and family suggested in open an acct with TD bank. Complete mess from day 1…First I want to open up the over 60 free checking retirement account for my checking, and was told that I didn’t qualify by an office in upstate New York before moving. Well I later found out that was not correct nor true.Initially the bank never gave me any starter checks for my checking account to use.After relocating I have to have a account corrected to the over 60 senior free checking account. I’m not Shirley Valerie told me that I would have to open up a completely new account to accomplish this and the old account would have to be closed that’s requiring a brand new account number and debit card to be issued, when I already had a debit card in my possession I was using in the meantime, so that would’ve been a great inconvenience, no paper checks and having to now switch all my account apps to a new account number as well.Then when we went into this local branch it took three employees a half hour to update my account and then print me up some starter checks, of which a couple were messed up and had to be redone. All in all, between the three people there as Tammy was not there that day, staff struggled with the correct steps and procedure to change my account to the over 60 free checking and to print up some starter checks.Then if that wasn’t bad enough when I look at my checking account statement online two weeks later I find that I was charged over $30 for checks and had to call the bank and have that corrected as they were supposed to be free.Extremely disappointed quite honestly that I have even gone to this bank at this point.May consider opening an account with a new bank if this kind of thing continues.

IT IS WITH GREAT REGRET THAT MY OPINION OF THE MILLS PARK DR. TD BANK HAS CHANGED, AND NOT FOR THE BETTER. THIS BAND WAS ESPECIALLY DURING THE PANDEMIC, WAS A GODSEND! THEY HAD A NOTARY AVAILABLE ALMOST ALL DAY EVERY DAY, THEY HAD TELLERS THAT KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND DID THEM EFFORTLESSLY AND WITHOUT ERRORS. THIS NEW BATCH OF TELLERS ARE A NIGHTMARE! WE WILL EITHER BE USING ANOTHER BRANCH OF ANOTHER BANK IN THE NEAR FUTURE. OUR COMPLAINTS TO THE BRANCH MANAGER ARE ALWAYS TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION POLITELY AND PROFESSIONALLY. BUT SHE CANNOT MAKE UP FRO INCOMPETANCE. SO SORRY TO HAVE TO MAKE SUCH NEGATIVE REVIEW!

Let me stay by saying the upper management lady "Tammy" was outstanding. But due to the nasty and very ugly treatment from the female named "Valarie M Jones" it was their downfall. Out of hateful madness, Valerie M Jones flagged the account for identity theft. That's left us without access to the funds that was deposited in cash. Been trying for couple of weeks to close this account and get our money back. That's all we wanted. Both my husband and I were called names and accused of being volatile. Myself or my husband have never said anything out of the way to Valerie M Jones. She just got caught in a lie and I suppose she wasn't used to people standing up to her. And to this day, I've not said any word negative or nasty or UNPROFESSIONAL in any way whatsoever, nor has my husband. DUE TO THIS FEMALE NAMED VALERIE M JONES AT ROCK HILL TD BANK off Celanese. Unfortunately, TD lost good customers due to this female. DO NOT RECOMMEND! STAY AWAY! DON'T HAND YOUR MONEY OVER TO THEM!!

Very slow service. They have one person doing drive through and the lobby. So I had to watch the lady go back and forth. All I wanted to do was withdrawal and she asked so many questions. I have never seen people who are so incompetent in my life.

I would give 0 star if it would be possible. Representatives don't want to work there at all !! Wanted to open an account ,they kept saying they have 2 ppl in front of us and bank was empty !!!!! The blonde hair older woman was racist on top of that. Hope she would get fired.

I don't know whats up with this place. Walk in and lady acts like I can't walk to the counter on my own saying I'll walk u up there. I asked to use the bathroom because I walked there for daily exercise and they said they were down. I asked how they use the bathroom and they just stood there. I said a cuss word because I really had to go. The lady hands me my check back. They dont have the common human decency to let someone use the bathroom. Also im not suppose to be able to overdraft and my account was over drafted. Very unprofessional. Very rude and non helpful. You should treat customers who make your payday with more respect.

Is ZERO STARS an option? I has an offer to open a savings account before 12/31. I went; they were "closed for lunch." I went again, and was told I needed an appointment. The third time , going for my appointment, I was told I needed my actual social security card (not just number, the actual card). Sadly, I walked out, taking some substantial funds with me. I do not trust their service.

Extremely disrespectful, went in to try to get a card printed out they refused to serve me. Then I ask for my online banking to be re set they refuse to help. Very unprofessional people. Very rude they told me go to another td bank. They had nothing else to do I was the only costumer in the bank at the time . Very poor costumer service. All those employees that work there should be fired!
