My son bought an engagement ring here and they took very good care of us. Elaine worked hard to make sure he received exactly what he was looking for. It was a big investment and working with a small local company made it easier. We appreciate a store who takes care of their customers!

Inventory is nice enough, but customer service is lacking. They need to improve people skills, customer service skills and telephone interaction. They made me feel like they didn't care whether I was there or not. Won't go back.

I took a gold chain with a gold nugget charm there to be repaired. The nugget has always been too heavy for any chain and the ring on the nugget would always wear down causing the nugget to fall off. I wanted to get it repaired because my husband hasn't worn it in years and expressed he'd like it repaired for Christmas. They checked the chain over and discovered a broken link that I hadn't even noticed on it and suggested a stronger piece to put on the nugget that also looked so much better than the other. I expressed that I would love to have it by Christmas to give to my husband but I knew I had waited till the last minute to bring it in and it probably would not be ready. They told me that they would do their best but they couldn't say for sure that it would be ready. I received a call less than a week later that the item was repaired and ready. It looks beautiful! They did an outstanding job at a fair price and I highly recommend this business.

Over the years, we have often used Hege's. They not only sell jewelry, but they repair, restring pearls, and resize. They are the most trustworthy and HONEST jewelers in town. (I could tell stories about other stores that have done terrible ethics!) Our whole family trusts them!

Have never had a good experience in a jewelry store until now! Trying to get my engagement ring sized to fit in a unified nesting band, and they were absolutely wonderful, kind, and funny. It was no problem getting my ring ready, and an amazing turn around time! I’m so ready to pick it up and I’ll update with the results. My new go-to place for ANYTHINGUpdate: my ring got finished in record time!I got a phone call this morning and I can’t tell you how good it made me feel for them to be just as excited about it being done as I was.Thank you so so much for sizing my beautiful ring, it fits perfectly with my wedding band, the fit itself is perfect, the band flawless. They even gave me a metal piece to put on my engagement ring since it got sized so big for the nesting band, so now I get to have the last two weeks before my big day enjoying my beautiful ring instead of the substitute one I had on (I really appreciate it) I’ll be back after the honeymoon to get them soldered together and to share pictures!

They were kind people and did a good job on repairs but the one thing I asked them not to fix/change that was dearly sentimental to me was replaced. I stated to the staff member specifically that the only thing i didn't want changed was a rivet put in by my father. I was clearly physically upset and crying in the shop and nothing could be done rectify the work that my father had done for me. Nothing was done they just looked at me while I cried. I dont remember the name of the person who helped me but they forgot to write down on the description that the only think that needed to be touched was the band. Not the rivets. I was absolutely heartbroken to see the one thing that I didn't want changed was different now and had to pay for it. Not only did I have to pay for it physically but mentally. One of the things I had left which was a memory was taken away. I can't believe that the woman who I spoke to didn't write it down especially because of how much I stressed about it's importance that it not be changed. I am utterly heartbroken.
