If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The people who work for this company are extremely unprofessional and will lie in your face. The MANAGER, Eric Sisk, is the most unprofessional of them all. Upon having an eye exam, the staff directed me to the sales side where they have a bunch of glasses to choose from for purchase. I already had a pair of Ray Ban glasses with an old prescription lens in them that I asked ERIC if their company could take to replace the lenses with my updated prescription. ERIC assured me that they could do that. Fast forward weeks, My EyeDr could not do that. They lost my prescription lens with the Ray Ban label on it. They tried to sugarcoat the matter and did not replace my glasses at all. When confronted about the issue ERIC stated that he mailed me a letter explaining the problem. When I stated that I did not receive a letter, he printed it again and threw it in the direction of my sister. My sister and I observed the interactions between the staff and several patients in the waiting area. At surface level, all of the patients of color were made to wait longer than those who were Caucasian despite many patients of color arriving and checking in before patients who were not of color. They don't even greet you when you walk in the door to the facility.
If you don’t mind living disrespectful, racist staff, and a company that will take your belongings and not return them at all or in the condition with which you brought them in, then My EyeDr at 1268 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill is the place to be.

Very attentive and thorough with me. Dr. Nguyen had me come back in to review my contact prescription and made some changes that made a difference. Don’t think I’ve ever had an eye doctor really care about my the most “optimal” outcome for me. Definitely coming back.

DON’T SEE DR. NGUYEN!!
Office staff was welcoming and attentive, but Dr. Nguyen was just terrible. Very unprofessional when she was “attending” me. Instead of explaining why exactly I couldn’t receive my eye prescription, she told me “welcome to adulthood” and dismissed my attempts to ask about what exactly my insurance covered. I understand that’s more of an insurance issue, but she had a very egotistical attitude and was dismissive. I would bank on her not knowing everything at my age either (19). Overall an inappropriate statement in my opinion and she knows it too, as I asked to speak with her and she instead got her boss to apologize on her behalf. If she really cared, she would’ve called me back, but no, she knew she was in the wrong and didn’t want to apologize. Assistants seem to also assume that you know that you will be dilated, but no heads up was ever given.

I highly recommend this place very professional me and my kids been going here for the last two years EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE very friendly everyone is so nice and greet with a smile each and every time !!!

Who ever makes the appts is truly rude from her tone to her voice to her choice of words .. they are unprofessional! Ive made an appt lastweek & they called to reschedule when im trying to call them back I get sent to a voicemail box that’s completely full. Now they’re asking for too much information over the phone ! Never will have a thought of coming here !

Wife went to get her eyes checked in June of last year. The staff said that she would be only charged $99 for the exam. 10 months later I got another charge for $89. I'm never coming back.
I am editing this review to state that I did not receive any phone call or email regarding a follow-up of my post. If this office truly wants to talk, they have my information in their files. I attempted to resolve this with the billing department and by calling the office directly. However, no one seemed interested in addressing this at all. I was just told that it was just what I owed.

Horrible. Eric is the worst! Said they don’t serve people like me and to find another office after paying for several visits, I still can’t see. Blaming the Dr as well Nguyen. I have since reached out to other locations and they have been very kind and have resolved my issue. Avoid! Avoid! They also guarantee within a certain time frame if you have issues and they are not honoring that at all! Wish I could give them negative stars!

The exam and follow up contact fitting were very good. Unfortunately they were less than accurate about the billing. I paid over $200 out of pocket and a month later received a bill for $95. I have been wearing contacts for over 30 years and have NEVER been billed anything after my visit. I contacted my insurance provider who contacted the office and found that there was an incorrect billing code applied. That resulted in a the charge being dropped to $75. This is all very underhanded to me and I will never go back and will never recommend this place.

I've been trying to call to see if they accept and are in the Cigna Medicare Advantage Network, a lady name Jenny, answers the phone and puts me on hold for so very long,
it's horrible.
as soon as she answers the phone, she doesn't ask if I can hold, she immediately puts me on hold for so long. Thats probably one of the main reeasons they have a 3 Star.
if you don't believe me call them yourself.
