We go here alot as contractors. They have everything we need to remodel a home or whatever project we are working on at the time. They also have my personal time favorites. The garden section. I bought almost all of my nursery plants from here when they went on sale. Couldn't beat the price. My garden is huge now.

Super unhappy with my visit here today, Worker was spray painting shelves Gave no cares that me and my five month pregnant wife and two little kids was walking by the worker gave no care and kept spaying with over spay getting on us and can’t even breath then when I said something to a different worker was rude to me .

WHY?! Why is this store so poorly staffed? The people on the floor are generally helpful, but trying to give them money is always a problem. One real cashier, who also has to oversee the self checkouts. Which have the worst interface of any that I've ever used. I give up on the rock hill lowes. Fortunately, I can use the South Charlotte or Huntersville locations. I've yet to have problems checking out there, no matter what the time of day.
UPDATE 8/30/2021-
I literally can't even. I cried while talking to "management" (like a woman can manage a hardware store) and they didn't seem to care. Whatever. I'll keep shopping at Lowes, definitely, but I'll use a slightly different location. Maybe that will send a strong signal!

Lowes will no longer give gift cards or cash for returns. I had my card stolen between purchase and returning a product and the woman working customer service that day refused to call management over and basically said i was screwed and i would have to bring the receipt to my bank to get my refund.
Home Depot gladly returns every product no questions asked. They will get my business from now on.

I am truly very disappointed in this store. Our daughter, Amanda, has always loved coming to help her daddy shop at Lowes. She is disabled with numerous problems, one being blind. We went Wednesday, July 3, 2024. I go in and asked if the Caroline Cart was in use or did they have a manual wheelchair. I was told no to both. One of the handles had broken so instead of fixing it (which I find hard to believe it was broken) they just did away with it. They offered the two power chairs but that would be hard for a blind person. I explained to the lady that there are special needs individuals that really used the Caroline Cart. I find that people who never have to deal with special needs don’t truly understand and they miss out on how special they are to us.
Hopefully someone there will have a heart and get that cart replaced. Brokenhearted for sure!?

I usually don’t waste my time by doing this but Felt the need today to do it so full disclosure I work for this organization for short period of time as a part-time associate so I know what the customer service values are was at the Rock Hill South Carolina location today and was planning on buying a number of items well over $300 but before I did that, I wanted to return a small pot holder by the way that equal the price of 9.99 each . I was told when I went to the return desk that the items was over 90 days which I understand but again keep in mind. These items were $9.99. totaling $20 at the most I asked for a manager because I wanted to get these returned. I was literally about to spend the money right back in the store. The manager whose name was Greg at full disclosure. I worked at a different store in Fort Mill gave me a resounding no return policy was the policy is what he said Greg I spent a lot of money in the store. I’m not trying to get my money back. You could even put it on the gift card. I’m gonna spend it in the store is the item that you currently sell in the store now he still told me no keep in mind I was about to buy items I just got a claim paid for a roof so this would’ve total well over $10,000 for the store. I was literally heading to the pro desk to work up a quote and again was about to spend 300.00 today! He still didn’t return it so you tell me how smart is a store to refuse a $20 return and lose out the $10,000 he’s a stupid manager and that’s a stupid policy. If that’s what your policy is I can see now why Lowe’s is 100% second to Home Depot. I will only shop at HD going forward. #Lowessucks

Purchased the wrong marking paint for out lining garden beds and went back to exchange them yesterday 745am. Used the business cc. Girl could not find it. Than I remembered that wells Fargo changemy credit card from visa to master card so they had no record and would not make exchange never use them

I’ve been postponing this because I like my Lowe’s pro associate and the people there. However, I’ve noticed a steep decline recently, coincidentally since the new management arrived. Nonetheless, my biggest pain point is always the Lowe’s delivery teams. They do whatever they feel like doing. There is a serious disconnect between the warehouse and the stores, and the delivery team just doesn’t care.
Latest example: they refused to haul away a fridge because of unsanitary reasons, lowes does not state that anywhere, it just says free for pro members. I love my pro associate susan, but Lowe’s delivery teams suck, probably because they hire third party delivery services.

Never have I been to a store this day and age with no receipts No REFUND …. I’m never coming here again . I will stick to homedepo any way their prices are better.
