I was looking for an item that I knew they had but I just didn't know where they stock them. I saw a Lowe's associate behind a desk with a computer. I walked up to him and noticed he was just playing on his cell phone. I asked him where they had this item. He replied back, "Sorry, I have no idea" Wow. So I asked him if he could look it up on the computer and he replied back.. wow again "I just have a cell phone and don't know how to look it up. I explained to him he was right next to a computer at the desk he was standing next to. He started to open a window up and stopped. He stated "I really don't know how to do this, let me get help and I will be right back" About 5 minutes later, I gave up and started using the computer he could not figure out how to. The computer showed me the Isle I can find the item. After finding it and heading back to the cash register to check out I saw that same associate on his cell phone in a different area. Wow yet again. Oh, and on lumber, if you don't have a customer around you to help you put the large lumber on your cart, you will need to do it yourself. You will not find an associate around to help load it on your cart.

I contracted through Lowe's, Rock Hill, to replace our countertops. They installed the wrong sink. I called Tuesday night when it happened. I was assured they would have an answer for me by Wed. Didn't hear from them, called them. Assurances I would hear before the evening ended. I called Thursday. Assurances that something would be done. Went to the store on Friday. Told to see Tosh. Told he knew all about it and needed to make a decision. Told he wasn't available. Several floor people tried to help. Sat in Lowe's for hour. Flooring manager assured me she would be calling before the end of the day. I sit here on Saturday to tell people that Lowe's will not try to fix their mistakes.

Contracted with Lowe's Rock Hill to replace kitchen countertops. They put in the wrong sink. Called when I found the problem Tues. night. Assured I would hear from them by Thursday. Called Thrus. night and told that I would hear from them by morning. I went to the Store on Friday because they didn't call. Told the manager Tosh was the person I needed to see. Told Tosh wasn't available to me. Flooring supervisor assured me she would find out and call before the end of the day. I'm here on Saturday morning to say I have heard nothing. Very poor customer service.

Well let just say Lowe's has changed their return and military discount policy and it sucks! I bought title for our bathroom and was only thinking I needed 2 or 3 boxes but the associate convinced me to buy more in case they broke or were damaged in the box. Besides buying more than I needed I have a disability which does allow me to a lot of work at one time. So it's taken me a little longer than it should but I managed with my disability and all. Now I wanted to return the 3 unopened boxes of new tiles and because I went over the 90 days Lowe's wouldn't refund me my money. So what do they want me to do with 90 new tiles? Also so why is the military discount not available on tools, appliances, or wood? That's why you are a lumber hardware store because people build stuff and sometimes buy one too many or would like to have a slight discount for our service to this great country and companies. Maybe I'll start using my Lowe's card to get at least a 5% discount all the time and on everything.

I have associates asking if I need help just about every visit. I also like that you can sign up with phone number to "My Lowe's" and it keeps track of your receipts in case you need to bring something back. Very helpful.

Horrible customer service. We went in today to purchase new kitchen fixtures. We needed help so I went to customer service and asked for help in aisle 51. We waited a long time and then requested it again. We waited a long time again with no results. A third time I requested help, we again waited and finally some came. When we asked our questions the only response was, “I don’t know.” He was totally clueless and not helpful.

I'm not going back to this Lowe's. Two days ago I went there to buy 4 items. I had to do my check out, there was no other choice. The girl watching me check out questioned how I was doing it!!! I scanned the 4 items, they appeared on the screen, I pointed them out to her. She checked each item and said I didn't scan them. WTF... Why did I have to be harassed? I almost just walked away. You expect me to do your job, and I did. If you don't like how I do it, put back cashiers so I don't have to. I've not been trained in be a cashier. What's next. Should I come in early and help unload the trucks? I'm just going to shop somewhere else.

Not worth the hassle. Fort mill is much nicer. While there are some great associates here. There are more that seem to be there for just a paycheck and don't care about the customers. Not one associate greeted me or any other customer that I seen. Unfortunately the good workers are slowly being forced out.

Customer service is awful. The manager of the store doesn't care. It's almost like a game to call up there and see how long it takes someone to answer the phone. 13 minutes last time. I'm almost impressed by the lackadaisical attitude. Almost.

DO NOT USE LOWES FOR FENCING we have been waiting and paying on our fence installation since June! it's mid September- no fence. we call daily and get the run around from the fence installation team. The installer, Broken Jay fencing has horrible review, does not return calls to Lowes or anybody. he still has not filed for our permit. Lowes will not let us speak to a manage, won't return our money or offer any resolution to our problem. sincerely a very pissed off customer!

The plumbing section here is always not in the stock of the most common fittings. The boxes are most commonly filled with the wrong parts. Doing a phone sale here is usually a nightmare. As always the store layout is completely different from every other Lowes because you have all day to try and find what you're after and don't have a job to do other than getting materials.

RUN do not walk away from getting a fence installed from Lowe’s. I mean it RUN away! I went with Lowe’s because they support the military and boy was that a mistake. Even if you’re military and get the discount like me, DO NOT get your work from Lowe’s. I ordered the fence in April ‘21 and the job was completed in January 2022…nine months. I was told that the product would take 2 months to come into Lowes (with Covid I understood.). 1.) After 2 months I received a call and was told that the employee who took my order had transferred to another store and that my order was never placed. 2.) when my order did come in I was scheduled a install date. The date came and I had to take the day off from work (un-payed). I received a phone call that morning from a different installer and was then informed that the original installer was not coming to install that day because they went out of business. Lowes never had the decency to call me to inform me of this news. 3.) Installer installs my fence and has the gate so high of the ground it looked ridiculess. I asked him to bring it down because it looked ridiculess but also that my dogs could walk right under it without bending down. 4.) because of #3 I now have permanent holes in my vinyl fence. I asked for the holes to be fixed and was told to screw black screws into the holes because that would look the best. Because the fence is tan they cannot plug the holes with any product. 5.) when the fence was original installed they did not have patches for the gates. I had to wait 6 months for them to install the gate latches. 6.) most corner post are installed on a angle and not straight. I think they eye-balled it instead of using a level. 7.) we had a storm come through the Charlotte area which has 20mph winds. Three post were leaning after the “20mph” winds and the installer said it was wind damage. Nothing they can do. What!!! 8.) I cannot open one of my gates with out lifting the gate. When I brought this up I was told there was nothing they could do. They told me to dig a path in the ground so the gate will open freely. 9.) I had more item that needed fixed which the installer took care of but there’s too many to list.
I asked Lowes to come and take this fence down and refund me as it has really been a clown show. I was then told that I could get compensated for all my problems. I agreed to keep it which was a big mistake. Keep reading.
I asked for the DM to come out and walk the job with me and that never happened.
This whole experience has been a crap show and what does Lowes offer me for all of the issues…$137 on a $4k job. That’s not even 5% of what I paid.
I truly never write negative reviews but I have to post this everywhere I can just to keep people from making the same mistake I have made.
Go with a legit fence company. One that knows how to install the fence and one that caters for their customers. You may pay a little more but you will not have the multiple headaches and frustrations that you’ll get with Lowes.

If I could leave negative stars I would. Was going to get floors installed and after the installers moved my furniture they said the floor wasnt level and wanted $1500 more. Tell me how it makes sense to put a level in visibility water damaged laminate and not the subfloor. Obviously its not level my kitchen flooded! The Old Laminate is down still so of course its not level. Worst customer service, absolutely 0 communication between anyone involved with Lowe's. Product missing, 5 different measurements and still missing 4 of the 6 closets on the detail. I Will never shop at Lowe's again!

Horrible store....can't get anyone on phone or find help in the store. How could they have gotten this bad? For first time in my life I'm a HD guy now.
