We had a wonderful experience at this location despite our situation being high stress bc of a last-minute canceled flight. Jeren and Deshawn were compassionate, patient, and professional in helping us get a car to drive home. Thank you, guys!

Trying to return a rental car and the office is open but completely empty. Phones ringing off hook and a half dozen people waiting. Took 15 min for someone to come in and take keys. Hire the right amount of people to run the location.

Unfortunately no Tesla available because the website was no longer up to date. However, they took great care on site to get a replacement. Hertz online ordering therefore 1 star, but the local location 5.

This will stay 1 star u til they fix. The manager gave me a quote for what I thought was the dates I asked for. Never reviewed. Quoted me price. Said I’ll be back next day. They were super understaffed. About 7 other people waiting. Finally gave me my key, and said I should book the car until Wednesday and if I come back early I’ll get a credit. Great idea. Again never reviewed anything with me, inraved hiw the manager got me a crazy deal.
Come back and drop off car. $900 hold… trying to charge me $560. Said they only quoted me four days not the whole trip and even admitted it was their mistake. He said him and the other lady should have reviewed.
I would have used my own car for my trip. No one seems to want to help. The store or customer service. I’m going to dispute the charges as my son has his camera on and can hear them admitting it was their fault.
I will add I do not think this was done on purpose or trying to steal money. They were understaffed and tried their best. But now they need to make this right.

Bad experience. I added a driver as I do for most of my rental in past considering most rental has free domestic driver addition. But was unaware that they charge heavily and they don’t even indicated that. I just added a driver for any emergency who never drove the van. I would have never added if I was told it will be charged.
But that’s not the only reason for 1 star.
- Over used Van with noisy door and body.
- servicing was not done which kept the warning on and hide the other information on meter. No way to turn it off.
- The music system was basic and old. No way to connect to phone. Entire trip for 5 days was without music.
- Van was not cleaned. They cleaned exterior when complained during pickup.
- On returning they said manager will call to talk about charges for additional driver but no call. And it’s impossible to reach them on phone.
Over all not a good experience.

The 2 gentlemen that work here deserve a raise ! Screenshot this to corporate ! Corporate : They need a raise ! I arrived on an awful busy day for them! They were running everywhere back and forth just to make everyone happy. I don’t know how but got me in a car, cleaned it, inspected and I was on my way in less than an hour. Thank you ! Hertz will definitely have my business from now on bc of these guys ! Oh yes - and Enterprise sucks!

My daughter was scheduled to pick up a car due to an accident. Was reserved from the insurance company to come to Hertz in rock Hill. I called two hours prior to arrival because she was 18 to confirm it was going to be OK before I drove an hour and a half to get her and drop her off, I’m glad I decided to go to help her because after I was told on the phone, they would be no problem. I arrived and as soon as they ran her drivers license, they said she was not eligible to rent after telling me to come on in, they will be no problem. I don’t have a problem with someone being under aged, but I do have a problem with wasting two hours of our time to not have a solution and have to go a different route which caused to lose two more hours. I get it things happen and there’s regulations but when someone is working and they call to confirm something to be told false information could’ve saved a lot of time and we could’ve continued to work. When we leave from there, they go onto the next customer while we have already lost two hours of paycheck and then losing more hours because one simple issue, if they would’ve ran her drivers license at the time of the phone call they would’ve knew and saved everybody a lot of time as well as a bad review. So for that reason, I do not suggest this location because they truly don’t have the customers interest except to get another car out , find someone else who actually cares about their customers instead of wasting their time. Or make sure that you call to confirm all details before coming to this location.

Customer service was the worse!!! No one answer the phone!! Walked into office and they sitting around laughing!! Go somewhere else!! I’m big on customer service and Hertz definitely let me down!! The worse!!!!!

I rented a car from Hertz (Rock Hill) and had a great experience. The booking process was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The car was clean and in excellent condition, and it was exactly what we needed for our trip. We had no issues with the car during our rental period, and it was comfortable to drive.
The return process was also smooth, with no surprises or hidden fees. We appreciated the transparency and professionalism of Vincent.
Overall, we highly recommend Hertz in Rock Hill for anyone in need of a rental car. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

Vince and Jay deserve 5-stars and more. A nearby Hertz Location rented me a car that was clearly unsatisfactory. These two gentlemen took the time to understand my issue and used their problem solving skills to deliver a solution. This is the only reason why I will continue to do business with Hertz. Please have your nearby stores to job shadow with this location for proper customer service training.
