On Friday (6/27) I watched an employee take a loaded cart to the curb for an elderly woman with an arm in a sling. She left the woman to handle it from there. She had to know that there was help needed and ignored that need. I waited for the lady to get to her car and assisted her. Found out that she had had a shoulder replacement and was shopping early because her husband was disabled. I have shopped at this store for almost twenty years and am shocked that this happened. Shame on that employee.

I have all great things to say about food Lion on Mount gallant road there is a manager there by the name of Brandon he has been so kind and caring to me he knows I have a hearing problem and I'm a little disabled. He will go out of his way to help others also. This is the reason I stay at this particular food Lion my name is Veronica most people know me as the laundry lady

I had the most horrible experience there. I was in self checkout and asked the young boy to help me ring up ribs. Next thing you foodlion employees (5) surrounded where we were at. That got my anxiety going. Before I'm even done with my first order they approached us about paying for other stuff in the cart, which was a separate order. They made me feel so small. I felt demeaned and judged. I felt I was being accused of stealing. Mind you, I didn't even walk away from the register. I was so embarrassed I almost started crying right there(i did cry all the way home). I didn't even want to finish my purchase, but I did while holding tears of embarrassment back. They can check the video out as my proof. Hopefully, they will hold on to it for this discrimination /defamation case. I always have 2 or more orders when I go to self checkout. I organize my stuff accordingly to where it's going while checking out . This helps me get them in bigger bags I have in the car, so when I get home it's easier to bring in or to drop where the stuff goes.
