The absolute most pathetic, greedy, poorly run company I've ever had this misfortune of being FORCED to do business with because of their MONOPOLY. Every year they get more expensive and their services continue to be beyond sub standard. Unfortunately the good citizens of York County are taken advantage of year after year and pay their hard earned money to a company that has no respect for it's customers or community or they would actually provide a functioning internet service like every other city gets the benefit of having.

I just moved to the area from Charlotte and ended up with the worst internet service I have ever experienced even though I pay $120 a month for their top tier service. I come from a rural small town in Southwest VA where even Spectrum could provide decent service, so how does a city like Rock Hill have this poor of a service provider that seems to have a monopoly in the area? We purchased our own modem/router and satellite wifi extender high quality Netgear Orbi because their provided equipment is terrible/cheap and we were always having issues. Unfortunately the services still deserve 0 stars. I requested to schedule a technician to come out and the customer service rep threatened me with a charge....for what, at this point I need a refund for 6 months of horrendous internet and security system services. Do yourself a favor and run from this company as fast as possible. I am currently searching for other options and contacting other providers to urge them to come to the area so I can actually be able to work from home which is the new norm that Comporium obviously can't keep up with. I never had a problem like this with AT&T...Comporium is a joke!

Worst service ever and even worse customer service on the phone. I’m only giving two stars because the tech that came out to see why we had an outage was very friendly and honest.

I've had them for 3 years and service for the most part is ok. Prices are too high unless you get a bundle deal and even then, the pricing is for a limited time. Customer service is why I am now dropping them. It's terrible. About every 4-5 months I stop receiving my paperless bills which has caused a late payments now and again and they refuse to refund the late charge. I also ask why I never receive the text messages I signed up for as well and of course there is no answer other than check your phone or check your email because it's not their problem. I canceled their overpriced TV and a month later I received a bill for 3x what it was suppose to be for just internet. I called and was told it's the way their billing works so pay the $227 and then I'll have a $157 credit. Seriously? Who does that? How about you bill people for what you're suppose to. Because of that, I decided to cancel my internet as well and switch to Tmobile home for 1/2 the price :) I went from having all of their services and dwindled down to 0 because of their customer service or lack there of.

Lost stars because they will only sell me a wifi-able plug if I sign up for their security monitoring racket.We have lived in Rock Hill for 15 years, always had Comporium because they are the only game in town. Not a monopoly, but no ISP wants to jump the barriers to entry. We lose internet occasionally, maybe 1-2 per quarter, usually fixed in a few hours.

This private company has a 2.6 Star rating on Google. WHY? Because of administrative decisions like this; CLOSED a payment/store in downtown Rock Hill, NOW the only payment/store on Cherry Rd looks like DMV lines and clients. Everyone looks so upset for waiting hours to pay or use customer service. Pictures provided

Internet signal is the worst. They keep blaming my equipment. It takes days sometimes weeks of us calling to complain everyday before they patch something for it to work decently for a couple more weeks.

One month in as a Comporium customer and without doubt can say this is the worst service ever. That's after having used used Comcast, RCN and Spectrum before. So internet out for hours since morning and the customer care rep says there is an outage and they cannot let the customer know. When asked for estimated time for fix, the response was at this time they do not have one and they closed the chat. Service keeps dropping regularly without explanation and its a nightmare if you are on some work call.

Our internet has been down for over 7 hours. Website still says : to be determined on how long it will take to fix. My sister across the street works from home and has had to scramble all day just to work. We pay almost 90 dollars a month for just internet, and they can’t get it back up for almost a whole working day.

The prices keep going up and the customer service isn't helpful. Any time there is an outage, they insist there isn't an outage although multiple people have reported it. Today our wifi went out and they told us to talk to the power company because it was a power issue and not the internet (no power issue existed). The only reason anyone uses comporium is because there are no other providers here.
