Had a alight infection/irritation in one eye and googled for the nearest optometrist... Colletto gave me an appointment first thing the following morning and the entire experience was just flat out great. The reception, triage and certainly the Dr. He took his time, explained the possibilities, treatments and so on..There selection of glasses is tip top, every major designer and even a $50 sale section.Highly recommend if you need eye care. Beautiful offices also.

My husband & I have been coming here for several yrs & it is ALWAYS a pleasant experience. The front desk staff is top notch. The lady that does the pre exam is so very kind. I truly enjoy Dr. Hildebrand. Very kind & knowledgeable. We would not go anywhere else.

The very worst in eye care . Worst than Americas best and five times the cost! No consideration whatsoever for a case by case assessment and solution, they don’t help because they can’t, they don’t help because they won’t,

So friendly and professional which made our first visit there so comfortable. The doctors and staff were so nice and we would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a good Eyecare team. We will definitely be back for future Eyecare! A big thank you to Dr Colletto and Dr Hildebrand!William and Olivia Huffstetler!

I recently had an appointment at Dr. Collado's office, and I must say it was one of the most frustrating and unpleasant experiences I've had with a healthcare provider.First and foremost, the waiting time was nothing short of excessive. I arrived on time for my appointment, yet I was left sitting in the waiting area for what felt like an eternity. Nearly two hours passed before I was finally called in for my visit. This lack of respect for my time was unacceptable and left me feeling incredibly frustrated. To make matters worse, the staff at the office were far from friendly. I encountered a cold and unwelcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked through the door. The receptionists seemed disinterested and were not approachable when I had questions about my visit or the paperwork I needed to complete.During my checkout process, I experienced the height of disrespect. The staff member handling my transaction was rude and dismissive, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued patient. To add insult to injury, I was slapped with unexpected fees that were never communicated to me beforehand. As someone with insurance covering 100% of visits, I was shocked to be confronted with these additional charges without any prior warning.Furthermore, the way they handled my inquiry about contact lenses was utterly unprofessional. I was given 24-hour disposable lenses to try, but when I hesitated about the fee, I was treated with hostility and pressured to remove them immediately. I felt coerced and uncomfortable throughout the entire interaction.Overall, my experience at Dr. Colleto’s office was extremely disheartening. I had hoped for a professional and compassionate environment but instead found myself subjected to an unending wait, unfriendly staff, disrespectful treatment, and unexpected financial burdens.I strongly advise others to think twice before considering this practice for their eye care needs. The lack of respect and poor patient care demonstrated during my visit was disconcerting and disheartening. I hope my review serves as a warning to potential patients and encourages the office to address these serious issues promptly. As for me, I'll be seeking my eye care elsewhere where my time, concerns, and well-being are treated with the respect they deserve

I purchased a pair of eyeglasses through Colletto Eyecare in May of 2022. My lenses were upgraded to a premium package with Crizal coatings. I also purchased a separate warranty through Colletto Eyecare for an additional fee. After two months, my lens coating delaminated and failed. As some consumers may know, Crizal has a 18 month warranty on their coatings against delamination and other manufacturer defects. This is a manufacturers warranty, and is valid through any provider that offers Crizal coatings. I presented the issue in person to Erin, a former associate at Colletto Eyecare. During my visit Erin called the lab that made my lenses and enquired about the Crizal coatings warranty. She requested the lab make a second set of lenses under the Crizal warranty. During my visit, I asked if the separate Colletto warranty I purchased would still be valid for the new lenses. I was told very clearly and adamantly that the Colletto warranty was separate from the Crizal warranty and would still be intact for my new lenses and coating. Fast forward about nine months and my lenses once again began delaminating. Upon my visit to Colletto Eyecare, I learned that the associate who handled the first lens coating issue I had was no longer with Colletto. I explained the situation and presented my glasses to the new associate for inspection and also informed the associate about my previous warranty claim through Crizal and that I purchased a separate warranty through Colletto. This is where I began getting the run around. I presented this issue in April of 2023. The associate reached out to me a few times, and in our final conversation informed me that according to Dr. Colletto, the separate warranty was no longer valid because I had my lenses replaced after two months. She stated that I could come in and speak with Dr. Colletto directly if I believed there was a mistake. After visiting the office several times and never speaking with Dr. Colletto, I made one final attempt to rectify the situation and visted the office on MAY 25th, 2023. The receptionist told me that Dr. Colletto was once again not there, and went to the back and spoke with someone who I assume was Dr. Colletto or Dr. Garabrandt. Whoever they spoke to told them that my warranty was no longer valid and that it had been used in combination with the Crizal warranty nine months prior. I spent over a month getting the run around from Dr. Colletto and still have not spoken to him. In the time I wasted pursuing my warranty claim, my current eye exam expired and now I have to have another exam to be eligible to purchase a new pair of glasses that I absolutely need because my lenses have delaminated to the point I can not see through them. I advise anyone who is in the market for new eyeglasses or prescription sunglasses to heed the warnings in the more recent reviews.Update: In response to your reply. Why is this the first time I have been informed that the insurance originally warrantied my lenses, and that the insurance companies' refusal to repair my lenses is the reason why you can not do anything for me? Maybe if we had actually spoke to each other in person you could have relayed that information. Why am I forced to communicate through a google review? I could have easily reached out to my insurance broker if I felt there was a need to do so. I also question what a private insurance provider's policy has to do with fulfilment of a separate warranty that I purchased at an extra expense through Colletto Eyecare? I'm not sure what changes in the industry you are referring to, and I'm not sure how those changes affect your ability to honor the warranty you provide to your customers at an extra cost.

I have been a faithful customer of this establishment for 15+ years and after the treatment I received today at this new location I WILL NOT BE BACK! There was an issue with my daughter not showing up under my insurance due to an error on behalf of the insurance company, I called insurance company while in office to rectify the issue and they were able to do so but advised it would be a few days before it reflects in their online system. The exam cost out-of-pocket for my daughter was only $100, which I was able to pay if need be but the insurance company advised they would pay for the exam if Dr.Colletto would bill it to the insurance company. Well obviously that wasn’t good enough for Dr. Hildebrand as he proceeded to yell at me that if the insurance for my daughter wasn’t showing in their system right now I would have to pay out of pocket no exception, although I had the insurance company on the line willing to speak with him to advise of the situation and attest that they would cover the charges for her exam. I was flabbergasted at the disrespect I received from this Dr. Hildebrand and that was enough for me to constitute this visit as my last visit!

I will not be back.! i was recently seen at the Mt. Gallant location. It was a good exam. I wasn't pleased with the customer service from the people that work there. Not very friendly or helpful. When I picked up my glasses they didn't want to see if they worked out. I felt very rushed. I called about my glasses falling off my face she didn't seem to care to ask my name to help assist me. horrible !! i will not be going back

I went to the location on Oakland Ave. Not sure if all these good reviews are for Mt. Gallant but my visit from start to finish was pretty awful. I waited an hour to be taken back, whatever I work in health care I know it gets backed up sometimes. The person from the front desk took me back and sort of preformed an exam? This consisted of covering each eye once and reading the letters on the board once. The doctor then came in (at least I think he was the doctor he never introduced himself) asked ME what my prescription was and then told me that nothing changed. He did not do any tests. After questioning this since I made an appointment specifically because I noticed a difference in my eyesight, he then told me actually my prescription had changed. I got a 2 week supply of daily contacts until mine shipped. I asked how long that would be and they informed me 4-6 weeks. After asking for more trial pairs (and offering to pay if needed) I was told "we don't really do that, just come back if you run out). I, of course, run out. I go back to the office to get more contacts and turns out my order had already been delivered and was just sitting in the office. I was ready to let this all go as I only went to see them since I was in school out of state and they weren't my primary eye doctor until the last 2 weeks happened. I saw my primary optometrist and ordered glasses. The only thing needed was my prescription faxed from Dr. Colletto's office. I called 5 times for it to be faxed, my provider called multiple times, faxed release forms multiple times, and emailed over the course of nearly 3 weeks and STILL it did not get faxed. It finally was faxed this morning after chasing them around and asking to stay on the line while they sent it. Honestly not really sure why my service was so terrible start to finish with all these other reviews but take that as you may. And thanks to Paxton for finally getting it sent.

If you are a new patient make sure the girl at the front takes your insurance information, I called to schedule an appointment and asked her before getting off the phone if she needed to take my insurance information over the phone and she said no. I get to my appointment and they don’t even take my insurance. Time wasted and money missed because she wanted to rush me off the phone and not bother taking my information.

All the staff is absolutely wonderful to not only me but my husband and my son. I have Davis Vision and they are very knowledgeable about the particulars about this insurance from NYC...I really appreciate their expertise. They are friendly and make everyone feel welcome! Shout out to the receptionist and the friendly technician in the back where you find your frames.***UPDATE 8/5/2022What difference a year makes! I called to make an appointment for my family and was put on hold for over 5 minutes. I hung up and called back, telling the receptionist she had me on hold for over 5 minutes. Guess what? She put me on hold again for another 5 minutes. A different young woman finally took me off of hold going into 6 minutes. After giving my information for an appointment, she stated they no longer accepted Davis Vision. She was laughing and giggling with someone in the background while speaking to me. I asked her for a referral and she had no clue on information to another provider that accepts my insurance. My family was with Colletto for a long time but I’ve never experienced this type of unprofessionalism and lack of compassion from the staff. Im updating this review hoping they remove those girls from the front desk answering the phone because they’re not good at it! SMH

They used to be good, we went their for like 15 years but now they are terrible I would never recommend. Every time I went in their someone was coming back to return glasses that they couldn't see out of. They were more Eagar to rush me out of the door and did not originally believe me when I said I couldn't see out of my contacts. Their is a new Mt gallant location they kept sending my glasses and contacts between both facilities so if I drove to Mt gallant I would get their to find out they sent it to Oakland Avenue. They also aren't clear in the beginning that the contacts are not refundable they are only able to be traded in for a different brand.

Everyone was so nice and everything went so smoothly! Dr Colletto was very thorough and explained everything to me about my exam and my daughter's who was 5,they got us in next day service, my astigmatism wasn't nearly as bad as my baby girl, so I got my glasses back within 2 days now we're waiting for hers! I was able to make my husband an appointment when I picked up my glasses ?️? I highly recommend them!! I was so unsure about the frames, but Tisha (I pray I remembered correctly!) She was so sweet and picked out the most adorable frames for my baby girl and she got me a beautiful pair of Vera Bradley! She was so personable, I felt like I'd known her my whole life! ?❤️

They were great and friendly when I came in for the glasses, but when I had a problem with the glasses. They said it would only be covered if I had bought the additional insurance…..So much for customer service…
