Customer for over 35 years myself, my husband and my parents. My parents recently spent $380 on a gold bracelet that broke near the clasp. It was repaired poorly and started splintering again near the clasp. Was told it would be $30 for the repair. Spoke with new manager and he agreed to repair free of charge this one time. Repair appeared to be fixed. Within 2 weeks the gold is splintered again near the clasp. Maybe this bracelet is a lemon or maybe it is a poor design. Due to management stating they will not stand by their product we will not be back. When spending almost $400 on a solid gold bracelet that a jewelry expert says is solid with a nice lobster claw you expect it to hold up for more than 2 weeks without the gold poking you like needles. Two generations of customers lost due to poor customer service by a young new manager at Rock Hill SC Brownlee Jewelers

Today Feb. 10, 2024. I walked in at around 12:30 and left at 12:40. I went in there to get a feel of the shop and to hopefully build a relationship to do business with them on a regular basis and after 10 min of looking around their pieces I didn’t get a “hello” or a “welcome in”. I’m new to the area and not 100% sure how the jewelry market is here but a reminder that you’re in the business of luxury and your customer service has to be competitive. It’s not a necessity business.

I’ve taken my favorite necklace here for repair several times and have been completely satisfied with the repairs each time. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the store has quite a beautiful collection of jewelry that can capture the gaze of a wide variety of tastes.
