Bill was amazing. I called him to service my road bike (Specialized S Works) and Hardrock Mountain Bike. He was here at 8:50am and did an amazing job, even cleaning up my bikes and telling me what to watch out for, tips on where to ride, etc. Super nice, honest and knowledgeable bike specialist. No call no show for his appointment. Glad other reviewers had better experiences.Edit because of semi-incoherent response from owner: dude... We had an appointment. You didn't text me for 4 days after your no call - no show. Don't be a lil beeeotch about it now. Accept responsibility maybe? Just a thought.

Campognolo expert!!!! Had what thought was an unsolvable problem with my EKAR drive train. A few hours later I was told SOLVED! THE BEST cycling mechanic hands down! Thank you sir!!!!!

Definitely one of the most honest, kindest people I have ever met. Gave me honest feedback on the condition of our bikes, even though it didn’t result in business for him. And advised us on how to care for future bikes. I would ABSOLUTELY use his services!

Call Bill and he happened to be close by so he came to the house and helped me with a tire situation. He also showed me how to shift my Catrike 559 so I could get up some hills when I head to North Carolina.

I have used Lab Cyclery for my cycling needs since I moved to the area a few years ago. They have been outstanding with excellent repairs, knowledge and great advice. I cannot think of a more trustworthy place to bring my bike and will continue to do so as long as I own bikes.

Brought my bike in with a completely bent derailleur, bent wheel, rusty chain, and gear shifting completely out of adjustment. Was told might be a few days but was done in a few hours. Bike rode like new! Outstanding knowledge and customer service! Most highly recommended, we need to keep supporting this local business!

Dropped my bike off in the middle of the day for a tune-up. Bill completed the service within an hour and also fixed an issue with my gears. Service was fast and great, and the price was very reasonable. Will be returning!

This place it great. Crashed my road bike. Gears didn’t work, front wheel was bent and handles were off center. They were able to fix it on the spot in 15 mins. Back on the road

Great shop. Very honest and kind. Did a quick fix on my husband’s bike for free and gave my sister good advise on not to spend the money to repair a bike that wasn’t the right size for her. I’ll go back to this bike shop for all future needs.

Bill was great! I needed a little handlebar adjustment. He took care of it and found three other things wrong with my BRAND NEW BIKE (bought elsewhere). All fixed in about 10 minutes. Highly recommend!

I can not believe the quickness and accuracy of service at “Lab Cyclery”I went in for help with the alignment on my Catrike Dumont. Bill had it figured out in a couple minutes then identified other issues I didn’t know I had. He trouble shot my tachometer, got it working. Mounted a cellphone holder, I brought in!!! Mounted a mirror, I brought in!!! Adjusted a brake that wasn’t braking. He literally kept tweaking this and that, all the while answering my questions. I even bought a double bottle holder $47, then he mounted it. Labor and parts everything was under $85. It was instructional and exhilarating watching him work. A true Craftsman.

I don't know about you but when I'm looking for professional services, I'm not swayed by advertisements, familiar names, or even convenience. I want someone that knows what they're doing, has experience, commitment, and takes the time to do things right. If that agrees with your criteria then I suggest you go see Bill at Lab Cyclery. He's got decades of bicycle mechanics experience and has pretty much seen it all. Even my vintage road bike with 40 year old Italian components was in his sweet spot. I've been back a few times including taking a recently purchased road bike that he went over thoroughly. He looked at it right away - no "leave it here and I'll get to it when I can". He pretty much had the same attitude whenever anyone else walked in - surprising most of them who expected days long waits. Oh, and he sells and builds bikes too. He's the guy to see if you want something special. Highly recommend.

I HIGHLY recommend Lab Cyclery for any type of bike repair and bike sales. As soon as you enter the store, Bill’s friendly demeanor is very apparent! He cares about us, the CUSTOMER. I took both of our bikes for four new inner tubes and a general tune-up. He met the date that we needed them returned and the price was the same as quoted. If you have a choice and want a bike shop who CARES about customers, the Lab Cyclery is the one you should choose.
