I found an abandoned dog and brought him here to JARM. They were very nice. The best experience I've had there in years. It was also a lot cleaner. I left there confident he would be taken care of.

This place won’t return my sister in law’s sisters dog even after providing evidence of ownership. The front desk ladies are completely unprofessional and have no sympathy for what they have been through during this time their dog has been missing. The dogs owner spoke professionally the whole time while this lady kept being hostile and threatened to call the police. Ive never liked animal shelters and just seeing the front desk receptionists actions proved to me more not everyone deserves to work with animals nor should they be able to. Their poor dog is probably scared and nervous and missing his family and this staff clearly doesn’t care. Where is the sympathy for the dog?Why won’t you guys help a loving family get their dog back? This staff doesn’t even know what they’re talking about when it came to their dog and the dog being returned. They can’t deny any of this either with it all being recorded. I suggest they return their dog before they lose their business.

If I could put zero I would because the lady was rude to use and just yelling not even listening to use when we try and have a conversation. They said we had to pay 250 and we had it but they just said something different to us . I been going there for years and today is the last day I will go there.

The whole animal crew are some liars and desk front was so rude. My dog was pick up by the pound after 2 and a half days of being lost, he was picked up by the pound. The next morning we went to the pound to ask about him and they told us we will have to pay 250 to get him back and called us back dogs owners because he didn’t have his shot or was neutered. They didn’t want to give us back our dog after showing them lots of evidence that he was ours but they still didn’t want to give him us. We went to the pound more that 3 time trying to get our dog back and they indeed never gave him back

We've been blessed with four different rescues from Jasper animal rescue Aunt. We've had to drop a few animals off there for them to be able to find homes for as well.
It's always nice to know that there's a safe haven for animals.
Thank you, Jasper animal rescue mission

JARM is awesome. If you have lost a pet, the very 1st thing they do is scan for a microchip. Their staff is very professional and are very dedicated to the animals in their care.

One of my dogs ran away due to anxiety from storms. She is microchipped but She was picked up within 30 mins and taken to Jasper Animal Rescue Mission for less than 12 hours before I found her and picked her up. JARM never scanned for her chip, I had to find her post on “Lost paws of the low country” Facebook page. She’s up to date on shots and STILL GOT A NASTY CASE OF KENNEL COUGH. Unfortunately this business is underfunded, under staffed, AND A KILL SHELTER!!!!!!!! DO NOT TAKE FOUND ANIMALS TO THIS SHELTER!!!!!!!!! Now my other dog has it too and I’ve spent the last week cleaning up puke and diarrhea on zero sleep because both dogs are now coughing all night. Thanks Jasper Animal Rescue Mission??

Very dedicated and hard working employees at jarm. They truly love the animals under their care. The dog's and cats are very well taken care of and it shows in their happiness.
