Very nice place, Curt was an awesome host. He accommodated us at the last minute. If you are looking for nature and a Zen type of place, that is the one to go. It is clean and very well maintained.

It was nice to call before our arrival and get a nice human being on the phone for asking questions. The campground has wifi and Verizon works like a champ. 36 tv channels from our camper antenna- amazing! Curt is the gracious host; on our arrival he came to greet us and helped guide us into our spot. Very clean and near the interstate. Site was very level and did not require any side to side leveling. Centrally located between Savannah, Ga. and Hilton Head, SC.

We stopped at this lovely camping spot for an overnight visit. We chatted with Curt for a while. He is a very nice host. We have a large 44' rig. He guided us in to the correct entrance. Very clean sites. Easy setup. Curt was super helpful and kind. It was so nice and QUIET there!! We love, love, LOVE this stop! We will return! Thanks so much for your hospitality! A+++++
Dog-friendliness: There is a nice, fenced dog run there. The 2 dogs we met were very friendly.
Picnic area: Very clean. Nice setup.

Heirloom Hamlet is beautiful. I camped on the private, tidy tent camping site that included a fire pit and picnic table. The shower, composting toilet, and washbasin were exceptionally clean. I learned in the morning that I could have charged my EV with my NEMA adapter if I had reached out to my host. I will return to share this experience with my family. The life that Curt and his loved ones are creating on their homestead uplifted and inspired me.

Curt was the absolute BEST! This place was made complete with a nice shower space, a grill, a fireplace, and a SAUNA. We were blown away by the hospitality of this place and plan on coming back

I had a fantastic time camping for 1 night on my way down from NC to FL. Curt and his family were very kind and helpful! Beautiful campsite and really appreciated the clean bathroom and different cooking options. My pup and I enjoyed it so much I’m planning to stay 2 more nights on the way back to NC. Thanks!

We just spent two nights there while we were in town to guide a drum creation workshop. The owner greeted us and made sure we had everything that we needed to be able to use the hookups. He had an adapter for the 50-amp power, which was perfect since ours was ruined somewhere else. Our hose was a few feet short, so he let us borrow one of those too!Our group was 2 adult humans and a big dog, and we all felt very welcomed!Restrooms: The composting toilet was easy, and I love that it's there!Dog-friendliness: Curt offered our dog to use the giant dog run with his. His dogs only barked for a few seconds whenever we showed back up to be greeted. They were silent the rest of the time.

Surrounded by woods but only about a mile from town, Heirloom Hamlet is a nice little camping hideaway. Curt was particularly kind and helpful when we showed up to tent camp on a rainy night. They have a composting toilet and solar powered electric, so the whole operation is very eco-friendly. The nearby town of Ridgeland had some great Mexican food at the nearby Minisuper and Restaurante del Pueblo. I don't know if there are attractions nearby but it looks like they do small classes or other group events in their little exercise house.
