Terrible!!! I'm still trying to figure out why two weeks ago you decided to stop checking Alternators and only batteries and then the people you hire has NO knowledge of vehicles. No help at all! Sold lights that wasn't even part of the problem.

DO NOT WASTE ANY MONEY AT POWDERSVILLE AUTO ZONE. I've been a customer since 1988 when it was AUTO SHACK IN MILLINGTON TN. Recently I asked the asst manager and for him to get his manager to help with a question about duplicolor paint. I was told we dont call headquarters, you can if you want. This is a lazy inexperienced bunch of people and will waste your time and money but will not help you if it means going the extra little bit for unanswered problems.

Horrible customer service! I stopped in to try to find out what fuse my husband's truck needed, and what fuse my suburban needed. The staff there was not knowledgeable at all, the guy helping me seem like he would rather do anything but help me. When I finally told him about his issues he still had the smirk on his face stating he can't help me. Most auto places I go to would at least try to figure it out, or help me Google it. The guy that was helping me ( not really) didn't even want to take the initiative to help me find a solution. I will never go to the store again

Thomas B. at AutoZone saved the day. I wish that this story was exaggerated, but alas, it is not. My battery on my 2018 Camry was going dead. I bought the car new and it was about that time. I pulled into Advance Auto, not AutoZone where I should've gone, on 10/31 Halloween night at 5pm. I thought, "I'll get the battery checked, buy a new one, be home to take my kids trick-or-treating." The first Advance Auto associate came out and could not figure out how to test my battery. A store employee, and they were so confused on how to check the battery. They took 25 minutes staring blankly and putting the tester on and literally said I should go to AUTOZONE. Believe me, I would have, but at this point my car was dead. The second Advance Auto employee came out and the first one went back inside. Same confusion. "This plastic piece is in the way," they said. After some inspection, I realized you could flip up the plastic piece to access the terminal. Great. Battery dead. So glad it took 40 minutes to get there. Oh but no, proceeded to not be able to get the cable off the terminal for another 10 minutes. Not kidding. Two Advance Auto store employees who did not know how to test a battery, or remove the cables from the battery. I asked the employee to jump me off and I went down the road to AutoZone, store #6789 and spoke with Thomas B. I told Thomas the story and he said, "time me. I'll have your battery changed out and you'll be on your way in under 10 minutes." To his credit, he did it in just short of 8 minutes. Thanks Thomas B. at AutoZone. Given the choice, I will always go to AutoZone now.
