Love this store and it's owners. If you want something just ask them and they will carry it just for you! Mine was lemon lime beer salt! Ask for it. They have it now!

Fish dish wasn't pleasant, it smelled expired. When I called to inform them they tried to argue it was fresh fish, but in the end they did provide a new meal to replace it.

After reading mixed reviews on Yelp we figured we could give this a try because we thought maybe the bad reviews were total foodies or snobby people. We were wrong. The positives were that the building was really cool with exposed brick and beautiful chandeliers. The workers were also really sweet. We got the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and they were pretty good (not the best I've ever had but also not the worst), but we had to wait 45 minutes to get them even though we ordered them the minute we got sat. We had to wait another half an hour to get our entrees (steaks) which we both ordered medium-rare. My fiancé's steak, the filet, was okay with good Mac and cheese and yummy mashed potatoes as sides. My steak, the New York strip, was the worst steak I've ever had. It came out charred on the outside and medium well to well done in the middle. It was so tough I could barely cut it, it was like rubber. At least I had decent Mac and cheese and hush puppies to fill me up. Overall, the food was decent but because of waiting for over an hour to get our entree and having that horrible steak I am giving it two stars. They should get a new chef for the steaks if they want to call themselves a "Grill".

I have been wanting to come here for a good while and am so glad we finally did. I have never had fried green tomatoes before (originally from CT) and had been wanting to try those for a while too. I was pretty pleased and may have them again sometime. I had the prime rib with a garden salad and mashed potatoes. The meat was a bit fatty and chewier than I was hoping for. My husband had a grilled cut of steak (I think the NY strip, but I'm not sure. I liked his better and if I order steak there again, I'll be sure to have that. My goal for this place its to stop by for brunch though. The menu looks amazing and I can't wait to see if it lives up to all my hopes for it.

The restaurant is really nice inside with a huge bar and liquor selection. I ordered a cheeseburger, which arrived quickly and as ordered. The patty was average size and the buns were of normal grocery store variety, not the large restaurant buns that come out toasted. I'd say the burgers are a little overpriced for the size and quality, but definitely not a bad dining experience and will be back to try the steak . Hopefully I will be able to give more stars next time.

Our steak was cold and tough (ribeye)! Flavor was lacking. Waitress and manager very good. Pricy for what we had!

Saluda River Grill was a great place for drinks and dinner with friends. This is a nicely renovated mill with a perfect location and a friendly staff. Clearly the owners are trying to provide a quality menu that ranges from apps and sandwiches to quality entrees. After several visits, this is our go to local restaurant because it is rarely crowded to the point that you have to wait and even when there is a crowd, there is room at the bar. In short, if you aren't up for a trip to downtown Greenville but want a great atmosphere- it's a solid choice. The artichoke dip is a great starter.

OMG! Fabulous gem in a quaint small town! I ordered the filet mignon and my husband the ribeye. Both cooked to perfection! Sides were amazing and salad perfect! Our waitress was great! Jessica Johnson. She kept our wine glasses filled and our table cleared of empty plates. Our only regret was not saving room for dessert! We cannot wait to return!

Awesome little spot recommended by the front desk clerk and the hotel I was staying at. Food and service was outstanding, portions we perfect and delicious. Only knocked it down 1 star because they don't take AMEX which is my travel card for work. I will certainly swing through again even though it means extra paper work of my expenses. Keep up the good work!

It has been a while but this is one of those places that have a unique menu and good service. Our server was Megan and she was awesome! She recommended the strawberry blonde cocktail for me when I asked for something sweet and they had Thomas Creek red in the bottle which made my hubby happy. We ordered the pickle chips for an appetizer, but combined with the house salad, cornbread and entrees we were stuffed because it was a LOT of food. I ordered the special which was a shrimp creole. The okra and tomatoes paired with a creamy rice and shrimp were divine! Hubby ordered the house sirloin with whipped sweet potatoes, all cooked perfectly. We got the shrimp and grits to go for our daughter and that dish was delicious- the grits were good and creamy. Thankful for a good meal, great server and we will definitely be back.

It's been nearly 18 months since I've been here. Posting about the less than stellar experience we had then. Last night may have been worse. First, a new server who didn't understand the liquor order. Followed by a bartender who ty ook longer top mix 1 drink and pour 2 glasses of wine than it took to receive the entree. Which, by the way, was served without plates. As for dinner, it arrived 45 minutes after ordering. Mind you, the restaurant was at 50% capacity at best. The corn risotto was awful. Pasty and bland. The sweet potato was 20 minutes from done. The 1/2 lb. patty melt was dry and maybe 1/4 lb. What makes all of this hard tip swallow is that the owner is in the restaurant, sitting at a table with friends. When he does seem engaged with his restaurant, its from the rear, staring at his patrons/tables as though they were about to steal from him. Make your customers feel welcome! Walk around, talk with each table. Interact! Ask how the service is, how the food is, presentation, etc... I believe my last review said nearly the same thing. We are officially done with this place. Bye Felicia.
