I had a very weird experience here. I was standing in line to check out with people behind me. The cashier then informed me he was going to the next cashier to help bag. This was after he looked at me several times. I've shopped here many times without incident but this will probably be my last.

We are regular customers, as this is the store closest to out home. My husband went there this morning, and the check out clerk did not have a mask on. When he asked her where it was, she gave him attitude. Not spending money there again. I will drive two more miles to Food Lion.

After living in Piedmont/Moonville for 22 years I will never understand why we cannot get an updated/larger Ingles. We've had ton"s of growth ( new subdivisions and apartment complexes) on and off Piedmont Golf Course Rd and Emily Lane, so it is really discouraging. I shop here only if I absolutely have to. The store is so old and so outdated. I drive out of my way to go to the Ingles in Powdersville, as I do prefer Ingles meat selections compared to others ( Wal Mart, Bilo, etc.) Corporate: why can't we get a new and improved Ingles in Moonville? Is ot destined to be a "convenience" store forever?????

Went yesterday, first time there as I am hunting for alternatives to Wal-Mart/Aldis. Friendly staff, the girls can't do enough for you. Shelves were fully stocked which I liked. Frozen food section, actually the whole store needs an overhaul. More lightening would help. I found good bargains and their Meat Dept was nice.

The only reason I gave this store a 4 star instead of a 5 is because some of their prices are higher than another store where I shop. Their customer service, cashiers and other staff are superb... 5 stars. Their produce is in excellent (fresh) condition and their meats are always fresh... two things that are very important to me. It is a rare occasion that I want a product that they don't stock or are out of. If they are out of it they will inform me when it will be back in. Always ample parking. They are not a shiny, bright new store. That doesn't bother me because all I want is fresh food available when I need it that is not overly priced.

Really old, dingy, and dirty Ingles. I came for an item Publix discontinued and Ingles still carry. It was in stock. The two stars are for the condition of the building and the fact that they only had two lanes open with many customers in line. There was no one at customer service desk and so I had to wait and then ask a cashier to page someone to help me. I would not shop here weekly but only pick up a few items.
