I drove to 2 shops in the City of Pickens and due to the nature of my problems I felt they were not equipped to address my concerns. The I found Pickens Auto Repair. They are a full scale garage and we're able to restore my car to it's original condition. Gave me a ride home and picked me up when it was ready! This place is the real deal!!!Services: Transmission

These kind folk have been servicing my vehicle for years. They are honest, reliable, have fair prices, and communicate well. During my most recent visit to the shop, my vehicle needed several things and it was discovered that my rear rotors needed replacing as well. They called to communicate the price change before proceeding. Never had an issue.

I am begging you NOT to use these scammers. I went in for a simple oil change, long story short, and came out needing a new transmission. The one trip for an oil change led to two more trips with different 'issues' where I spent a few thousand dollars there in total.On the last trip, they replaced my transmission cooler hoses. The hose was not tightened, therefore, causing ALL of my transmission fluid to leak out. I park on grass, so I never saw the fluid leaking out until it was too late.The mechanic failed to make adequate repairs to my vehicle resulting in my transmission to lock up. I had to have my car towed home because I was driving one day and it just locked up on me.When I called to explain to them it was their fault they just kept saying "I'm sorry, but what do you want me to do?" They would not compensate me or even offer to fix it for free. I was not offered a rental car or any help whatsoever from them. I asked for a copy of their shop liability insurance and was not provided this information. Not to mention all of this happened over a 2 months time span.My jeep has run fine for 6 years and a month after I took it to them, I am without a car. After I got it out of the shop the last time, they called me to assure me everything was fine and stated no safety features were messed up.They have manipulated me, used me, and taken my service for granted.Again, do not use Pickens Auto Repair. Please take your money elsewhere!!!Services: Brakes

I was traveling from NC to GA and my low coolant level alert came on. I googled auto repair near me. The first place I called blew me off. I then called Pickens Auto Repair. There was no wait. They were very kind. The young man even clocked in early from lunch to top off my coolant, give me a jug of water, and I was able to get back on the road. GREAT, kind service, and many thanks!

I have had these guys do much work on all my vehicles.this is the best shop you will ever find in our area.they are honest, dependable, and their rates are better than anywhere that I have found. I'm about yo have exhaust work done on my truck. I trust them completely. Love these guys . They treat you like family. If you've got trouble, can't find a better place.

I had my car towed here after I broke down while I was traveling from Asheville to Athens. They were quick to look at the car. They gave me sound advice on how to proceed. They also let me hang out for the better portion of a day until I could arrange transportation. One of the gentleman even offered to buy my dinner once I told him that my card had been declined due to an unfortunate $20k overdraft by a restaurant in Asheville.

I would give this facility zero stars if possible ! I recently went there to discuss simple repairs on two of my vehicles. The counterman could not have been less interested in my requests. He told me he would have Chad call later in the day. As of now, 2 weeks later, no one has contacted me. Apparently this shop is not lacking for business. My advice is to go elsewhere for vehicle repair.
