They have a beautiful state of the art facility. Unfortunately they can't find my address when I call. Getting the electric service to my new home was a nightmare. No one knew what the other department was doing. Now they say there is no service here.

Blue Ridge is ok other than the power going out with every little storm or when the wind blows a little bit. If you live in their area you must get a generator if possible. The wind blew today and of course our power was out. How hard is it to keep the power lines cleared of trees and limbs so this doesn’t happen? We pay a lot of money and this needs more attention asap.

A little bit more than a month ago I asked them to send their representative and discuss putting the wires underground. The opinion of that highly qualified person was that wires next to trees is a great combination, to put them underground is a “Cosmetic “ procedure. Last night was the first cold weather with wind and around 30000 homes are out of power because the wires were cut by falling trees. Great Christmas present, please mr Specialist come spend the night at my place so you can see first hand the consequences of your expertise . Pathetic degenerates that I am sure is staying somewhere warm.

I was really concerned about using Blue ridge electric because of the bad reviews but we have been here almost 3 years and have never had an issue. Website works well and when we've had a power outage, they're out right away fixing it. The only issue I've had is the unprofessionalism of customer service agents the two times I've called in.

Blue Ridge Electric is such a fantastic company to work with. They are very reliable and quick to repair in an outage. The employees are very nice. Would absolutely recommend over Duke.In an outage from a major storm, it took just a couple days for them to restore our power. They responded fast and got us running fast when the whole county was devastated.

As many others have experienced hard times and hot weather. We've been experiencing the same. I want to thank you for understanding and being their for me while I dealt with some life changing events. For the last few months I've been dealing with doctors bills and general life suffering effects. The people at blueridge were kind and understanding to even go as far as calling ahead of my bill to see if they could help. ( Thank you J). Knowing their a business they still take the timeTo help the individual if its in there capacity to do so.They been there for me and my family I. Just wanted to say thank you to Jessicaand other that share her way of going. Above and beyond to help her customers God has surely blessed you.

Just wanted to pass on my experience with Blue Ridge Electric service. This evening, our power flickered for no apparent reason and didn't come back to full power (lights were dimmer then normal). I called Blue Ridge outage reporting, spoke to a nice lady and she dispatched a crew immediately. Matt and his crews arrived within 30 minutes, diagnosed the problem, and had our home back on full power in about 1 hour. All individuals I interacted with from Blue Ridge Electric we're very professional and exceptionally nice. I normally don't write reviews. I simply had to this time. Thank you Blue Ridge Electric!

450$ for turning on service… that’s the deposit with good credit…. And they made me send my deed in like I’m lying about being the home owner to get out of the previous homeowners bill, (I am not responsible for what the person’s bill was when they sold me the home). I think they gave me a high deposit based on this, RIDICULOUS and rude customer service.

Not too much bad to say until this past week. Sure we have had outages, but living in a rural area it is expected. But this week!?!?! They took the cake! They have contractors clearing brush, and trimming trees. They knock out all the DSL/phone service along Moody Bridge Road in Northern Greenville County. I call, and they tell me to call AT&T!!! When I tell them I did and was told I had to wait a WEEK for AT&T, they could not have cared less. I left a voice mail with a person that oversees the contractors, and got a call back that they would notify AT&T which I truly do not beleive they did. So, only 4 more days with no service...IF AT&T makes it here on time, and FIXES it right away...IF!!!

I would caution using blue ridge electric. If you’re looking for a company who will forgot to notify you when it is time to pay your bill, but still bill you without you knowing, this is your company to go with. But if you like your electric company to be a company with integrity, transparency, and great customer service, I would highly encourage you look elsewhere.

After receiving a shockingly high electric bill I immediately called Blue Ridge and was connected with the most amazing Associate there, Stacey, that helped me get to the root of my problem (a malfunctioning hot water heater.) I can't give enough accolades to Stacey, her great patience, and extraordinary willingness and determination to figure out the issue is exceptional. Thank you Stacey!!

I pay more here in power then with any other power company many many months my power is dramatically higher I tested this one day cut everything off only thing that was running was fridge but yet power usage didn’t change by much. Well this month my power doubled and came in at $513 I live in a 2001 double wide BRAND new roof maybe 6 months NEW ac unit sooooo why is my power bill so high??? But like magic my daily usage dropped back down…. Nothing has changed but even now 100-120 kwh per day is high… my average bill is $200+ that’s ridiculous but now $513 and almost GUARANTEED to lose power in ANY storm

if I can give 0 star, I will. WRNM !!Their online payment is not working properly!! After I set up auto-pay, it still not able to charge, and I have to set up again using a different card, the charge failed again!! I am sure my card is able to pay because when I manually hit the payment bottom, the payment did go through.Now, it is also very difficult to login to their system to pay the bill, because their system is always maintained during night time, and only be able to access after 2:30 am!!Okay, so now after a few payment failure, I got derogatory in my credit history and it hurts my credit score very badly. I won't choose Blue ridge ever again.
