I would give it zero for the fact that this store stole $20 from me when it's self checkout malfunctioned and I had to go get checked out at the other register with the employee because it wouldn't go through or finished processing my transaction so I got double charged and because it says Family Dollar instead of Dollar General I can't get my money back that this store is currently stealing from me so buyer beware you will probably get robbed at this place and since the lousy manager does not want to help you it's probably because she's pocketing the freaking money

Refuse to sell me a bottle of wine because I wouldn’t let her scan my ID. I do not have to give you all my personal information just show you a picture of me and my birthday. She was to lazy to type in the birthday and was rude also the whole store has boxes and overstock in the isles after they where closed today for hours!

I have to say it is much nicer and more organized than the other , no waiting in lines is nice and the manager has been really nice every time I go. honestly I think this has been the best Store experience in town I’ve seen . I’d rather go here than the other one . They are still in the middle of stocking the new store so give them a break if they don’t have everything just yet , but so far it’s been a nice experience.

Low stock, new people every week, been over charged by mistake so many times but it’s Pelion so grateful to just have a dollar general here period.

Went in there today for the penny sale as advertised! While i was shopping with a friend and scanning through near the cash register line, we hear the cashier enthusiastically interact with a customer of her same race about the penny sale and her items and congratulating her for it. Moments after my friend and i go to check out and my friend tries to interact with her about the penny sale, and ask if there were any items she knew of, immediately we get an attitude and her manager or asst manager whatever she is interrupts and says very rude and loudly "NO WE DONT DO THAT" Thats not here, yadayada. RIDICULOUS. ALL OF OUR ITEMS WERE A PENNY! Enough to say i know this was because of our ethnicity. Don't work in customer service if you cannot deal with all customers equally.

This is the worst Dollar General I have ever seen. The store is never stocked, boxes are always in the aisle. If the bathroom is even in service it is filthy. So many every day items are consistently out of stock and this was well before the pandemic began.There are several nice employees who try to do their best. One young man in particular is very nice. There is however a very nasty assistant manager who has been rude not just to me but to many others. I witnessed a custmomer screaming at her. And I thought it was the customer’s fault. But after several other instances I heard her speak in a derogatory way to people. She also got into an argument with me when DG’s credit/debit machine didn’t work. She blamed me and was very nasty. My card had just worked at IGA.Do yourself a favor and go to Family Dollar or IGA they have all the same stuff, comparable prices, a cleaner store and no nasty manager.

The store is always dirty, shelves are rarely stocked. Line is often extremely long. Some staff members are friendly but the assistant manager is incredibly rude. Their credit/debit machines have so many problems. Some product is up out of reach and they have little stools in the aisle. They say they will get it for you. But who will get it? They can’t even open a second register most of the time. Done with this DG!

No, the store is dirty, shelves are usually not well stocked. Product is often in the already narrow aisles. Handicapped individuals could not navigate this store. Their debit/credit machines always have major problems. And if that happens it is your fault even if your card works everywhere else. They make excuses for everything. The lines are always long. And there is an assistant manager who is incredibly rude. So rude in fact that I heard a woman lose it on her one day. I thought it was the customer’s fault until she was very rude to me. So maybe the customer had enough of her too. Also stuff on high shelves and they leave little stools in the aisles. They say get them to help you, but who is going to help? They rarely open a second register. Where are these helpful people? Do yourself a favor and go to Family Dollar. Also check out their Google reviews and you will see a lot of other people saying the same.

The store is filthy and under stocked. There are several nice employees and at least one who is not. They rarely open more than one register. I would recommend Family Dollar in Pelion. It is cleaner, well stocked and has a great staff.

Closed the store down at 1:00pm cause they had a truck delivered you should not have to Close a store for that reason not good at all
