Not impressed. My car leaks and my seatbelts are mildewed. Front seats have stains that just appeared. Also my front light has water in it.

A BIG Shout our to Tidelands Ford in Pawley's Island.My husband and I witness the Service Advisor Jim Lohr Jr, handle anirrational customer with professionalism and gave the customer manyoptions to consider to get her oil change completed. She became very verbally abusive towards Mr. Lohr, but he respondedbetter than most under that kind of situation. Her poor husband was embarrassed and we could tell he was uncomfortable with the situation but had no control of his wife'sverbal "displeasure" and that this was not the first time she tried to intimidate others.Tidelands Ford has a keeper in Jim Lohr. He kept his head while beingattacked. He did not allow her to be put in front of other customers that were already waiting in the waiting room in front of her.Well done Sir!

I will NEVER forget their kindness. You just never know when you make a major difference in someone's life ... and they have. These people know what they are doing, are professional with fair pricing, and they care. I would never buy anywhere else. I can be extremely critical after dealing with less than honest people in other areas (home repairs, etc.), so when I hand out praise, I can tell you that it is well earned. Tidelands, see you next year to buy my new Explorer!

This place does horrible work! I have taken my car back 3 times now spent close to 3,000 dollars. The coolant is still leaking into the engine they have not fixed the issue. They do not take any responsibility at all. Absolutely do not take your car here or purchase from here. I wish I could leave Zero stars but that's not an option. Do better for your customers.

Best Ford Service department around, they took the time to evaluate and assess the issue with my vehicle. They took the appropriate measures to ensure all work was covered under warranty and provided a loaner vehicle. Service Advisor Jim and his technician manage to correctly repair my vehicle fair and equitable, kudos to this team. Totally recommend this Ford Service team, they truly represent the Ford Brand where "Quality is Job One".

Dealership Service Department is unreliable and incompetent. We took our vehicle in for recall issues and decided to have vehicle maintenance as well. I also mentioned that I had a slow tire leak and ask them to check it out while rotating my tires.They said they couldn't find a leak but said we needed new lug nuts, $200 worth, because the originals lug have expanded. The tire continued to leak. I took the car to Discount Tire and they immediately found a nail on the inside tread of the tire I was having an issue with. No way would they have missed it if they really checked. Also found that the cabin filter was not changed as charged. We will not be using this dealership going forward for service and/or new vehicle purchases. I will not be

Drove from well out of town and Dave (my salesperson), BD and Zack made the experience seemless and quick. They all were personable and respectful of my time while making all of the admin work transparent to me. There was no bait and switch and no excessive pressure. It started with an online inquiry and some texts and ended with me driving off the lot with an amazing vehicle. Throughout the entire process, they were straight forward and honest, surpassing my expectations. If you live in the area, buying a car from here is a no brainer.

WARNING: Do not order a vehicle from Tidelands Ford. I placed a deposit ordered a 2021 F150 in September 2021 and never received any confirmation. In December when I knew orders were converting to 2022 I began asking questions. Almost immediately I received a new order confirmation from Ford which was slightly suspicious. When it arrived in June this unscrupulous group has done everything in their power not to sell it to me due to the increase in sticker price being so much higher than my locked in price at time of order. *They added on "non-negotiable" dealer options that I did not agree to on the order. When questioned about this they provided me an order form from December and said I signed and agreed to them. 1 problem! I never signed anything in December!!! Tidelands forged my signature on another order form with all of their dealer fees when they ordered the 2022 in December. I still do not know for sure if the vehicle was actually ordered in September. *They would not honor my price lock. *They "lost" my locked in 0% financing certificate. *They low balled me on my trade-in. *They refunded my deposit while "searching" for my 0% financing certificate, cut off communication and began offering the truck to other potential buyers and telling them they were immediately adding a leveling kit and tires to raise the price even more. Crooked, unprofessional, and dirty. Do not do business with John Clairmont, Bill Alpin, or Benson Banks.

Everything went smooth with our purchase. Joey was very involved and responded to our questions quickly and he made sure we understood everything. Zach was also great during our financing process. Overall, very pleased with Tidelands Ford!

I took my Lincoln, still under warranty, to Tidelands Ford, where I bought it, with a noise in closing the sunroof. They informed me that they needed to order a part and they would call to setup an appointment in a couple of days when the parts came in. Three weeks later I called and talked with B and he said that the part wasn't in. A week later I took the car in for an oil change and ask Jim about the part. To his credit went on a mission and found the part. It had been there for a while but apparently B didn't want to work to hard to find it. I was told that they were farming out the repair to a local trim shop. I took the car to Tidelands, they gave me a loaner and said that it would be done in two days. At the end of the second day I called and talked to B who said, " they haven't called to say it's ready" and rudely cut me short. After a week I called back again and talked with T and again was told that "they" haven't called us. To this point I don't know who they are. When I pressed him he said, " Well I guess I could call them." I said, " yes please check on it." He said he'd call me back. After an hour I called again and could only get the service voicemail. I called again and B answered and hung up on me. I called back again and left a voicemail that if they couldn't find my car then I call the sheriff and see if he could find it. Fifteen minutes later I got a call from Jim, the only person who seem to care about customer service, and said they would be picking my car up and that he would call me when it was back at the dealership. All I was looking for was a status report. I understand that staff shortages and COVID are creating many problems but at least two people in the service area clearly don't care about customer service.

The Finance manager, Ed was so rude when we asked some questions about buying out our lease that my wife got up and walked out of the room !! He knew that she was obviously upset would not even go outside to say he was sorry. She told our salesperson Brent , who is GREAT , that we will never buy another vehicle there ever again !! Its too bad that Ed lost Tidelands a good customer. We were looking to purchase our 4th vehicle from there , But NOT NOW !!
