JoRee went above and beyond to help deliver a Christmas gift to our manager who was displaced from Fort Myers to Georgetown by Hurricane Ian. We could not ship liquor to the state so I called and asked if they had delivery. She went out of her way to get him his present that day. We are so thankful for the customer service that does not exist at most business' any longer. Merry Christmas JoRee.

Fine selection of bourbon and the owner is a true gentleman. He seems to get ahold of some hard to get bourbon.

No sure this qualifies as authentic Mexican but it is very good. Fresh guacamole, delicious cheese dip and the braised chicken is great. Super friendly staff and oh yeah, margaritas were very nice. Will be back.

Very friendly staff, and a pretty neat looking place in how eclectic and kind of tossed together it is. Salsa is pretty solid. With all that said. Unreal slow. Sloooooooooow. And it was not busy at all. I can deal with that depending on the payoff, which here wasn't worth it to me at all. I tried some of the new school that my partner ordered and it was an alright cheese assault, I don't get the mashed potato thing though. From the ratings, apparently it works for most. Me, nah. Just weird and not a compliment to the spices I expect at all. Bigger issue was the quesadilla. The outside has a little cheese and spinach, but a good 80% of it is just heaps of chicken that doesn't taste like anything. Just not good at all I'm afraid. Really, really bland. Popular place and I am clearly the outlier based on the ratings, so YMMV. For me, we went out on a date and we did not like the same things, but I wish her well.

oh my God this is one of my most local favorites I can't believe that my review was a draft I never knew I didn't finish this review I mean what can I say everything here's delicious the owner Cooks your food comes and visits you at the table how many places you going to eat at that does that place has a simple menu not a lot of items but everything on it is absolutely pure deliciousness you've never had a burrito until you've had an old-school hurry though I don't care where you eat your burritos you need to come eat one here. this is the first place I ever had a fish taco Oso many years ago and it's still an incredible fish taco! they have a full bar so you can have a cocktail with your meal. this is a very local spot I recommend reservations because a lot of times during the peak dinner hour their tables are all full but if you don't mind waiting they'll get you in and you'll be glad you waited. All the food is freshly prepared when you order it nothing is pre-made and everything I've ever had here and every table of friends I've ever eaten with I've never heard a single person making any complaint.

Best margaritas in town. The guacamole tastes delicious and the chicken quesadilla is my favorite. Tracey the local owner is super friendly. My husband loves this place. I would definitely recommend it

Cute little local restaurant in downtown MB. Their burritos and margaritas are always on point, and I have never left hungry. The portions are huge! Very friendly lady who always waits on us.

Sun City Cafe is great! Visited Myrtle Beach from the Houston area and had to get our chips and salsa fix and this hit the spot! Chips and salsa were fresh as well as the queso. Tracy, our server, made it a memorable experience by making us feel right at home. Our kids had the "make your own taco" kid dish and kids quesadilla that they offer off the menu. My wife and I had the "New School," chicken burrito and the "Middle School," shrimp and fish burrito. There was a ton of food between the four of us, so much we took four to go boxes back to our condo. Oh, and the margaritas were very good! It is definitely a place to visit while trying to avoid the touristy spots while in Myrtle Beach!

Researched while on the beach on Saturday for a great, local and unique place for dinner and Mexican Cuisine is my favorite so after reading reviews about Sun City Cafe we had decided on this place. Arrived 7:50 on Saturday excited about a great meal and after awkwardly waiting at the door for about 5 minutes without being greeted we sat at a nearby table. After sitting for about 10 minutes an employee came over and told us they had reached capacity and would not be serving anyone else for the evening. Therefore, we left. Can't really review food but service was obviously lacking because there was none! Such a disappointment after being excited all day about dining at this establishment.

I've only left 2 other reviews ever so it's saying something that I'm leaving this post. Ordered cheese dip and beef tacos. Both were bland. The plate was beautiful but the food was just ok. My Old El Paso tacos at home have more flavor. Literally, no flavor. Best thing on our plate was the side of rice. It was delish.

Started with the complimentary chips and salsa..fresh and mild. Ordered the house specialty "Sun City Chicken" but started with the black bean dip. Very good experience. An eclectic must in Myrtle Beach!

Seafood burrito. They probably have other choices but I can't seem to order anything else. I'll admit I often do take out, which is very convenient. If you have time sit there and eat. It's a comfy, local, independent joint that's owned and run by friendly folk. Great drinks as well.

We came here on a girls trip. We loved the atmosphere as soon as we walked in. It's a little off the strip and definitely worth the few extra blocks. The staff gave us mustaches and that set the mood for an evening of laughs. Chef Cary came out to say hello and brought us a round of shots just because he's that awesome. Most importantly, the food was amazing!!! Fresh and made in house, the old school chicken burrito was out of this world. We laughed all through dinner and can't wait to come back to Myrtle and Sun City! Five stars all around. Definitely a must do for visitors to Myrtle Beach!!

This is a fun little place. Only about 1 block from the ocean but a little off the beaten path. The food is excellent - it's Tex-Mex style but that doesn't quite describe the food. Think tacos and burritos with the chefs own personal touch added to it. The margarita's are some of the best I've had.
