I've ate at Rogers this past week waitresses was un friendly chicken was cold and barbecue tasted old this use to be my favorite restaurant but not any more they need to change cooks and get friendlier people that want to serve all races and treat people with respect good luck I won't be back!!

I visited Roger's about 3 years prior to this last time and that time was definitely a 5 star experience. The food quality has seemed to slip a little three years later. But, we had some good BBQ and the waitresses were so nice!

I have been eating here for some time now and it has progressively gotten to the point where I leave almost a full plate on the table when I leave now. Their assortment just isn't as good as it once was. The cabbage I had yesterday seems like based on the really dark color had been boiling for a while and the smoked sausage just wasn't very good. The attempt at chicken bog with yellow rice screams fake and the length of time standing in line to get into the restaurant at noon makes it all not worth another visit. Honestly, they need to do something to protect their longevity here in Florence. Someone just may step in and create one more buffet restaurant now that the old Woodstone location on Pamplico Hwy is once again fixing to change hands during the first quarter of 2019.

We went here today and not busy as usual. We were here almost an hour. No hush puppies, ribs had been out long time didn't taste good and hard, some other items warm but not good. Believe had not turned as fast as usual. Been traveling an hour to get here for years but very disappointed today.

I've been eating at Roger's for 12 years whenever I'm in Florence. I just finished having lunch there. It was the best. Everything was very fresh. The fried chicken was cooked to perfection - HOT & Crisp on the outside, moist and tender inside. I'm usually not a big fan of fried chicken, but I had to go back for 2nds. Staff was very friendly, as always.

This place used to be better. We went on a Thursday around 6:30 pm. It should have been a warning that the parking lot was mostly empty and the only people eating here was a women's group who were on their way out. The food was dried out from having sat on the buffet under warmers for so long. Nothing was edible. I think the cap to the experience was the dead fly floating in our tea pitcher. Never stepping foot in here again!
