This store is waaaay too cold in the summertime. Nothing wrong with having some AC on, but I don't like walking in and shivering for the first 10-20 minutes of being in there and I've heard many others complain about it.
Everyone is friendly and helpful, but the cashiers are always super slow, and they never have anyone bagging. This is definitely one area KJs beats them at. I think if there was a wal mart or some other competition in town, it would make them pick up the pace a bit.
That being said, the prices are definitely better than KJs and the Piggly Wiggly in Chesterfield.

They do an awful job at checking food expirations, be careful! We brought home expired food last week and ended up just tossing it. I can’t imagine someone less fortunate being stuck with spoiled or rotten food they paid for. Seems like this would be an easy job task since the shelves are usually empty anyways and employees just wonder the store trying to avoid work.
