My review is partly based on my google search for “thrift stores” so understand my disappointment with that ,not necessarily the store itself. The store is nice and packed. The store would also be better labeled “Vacation rental furnishing” because most things were overpriced, a lot of repop, brand new merchandise and big furniture. Not a bad store by any means just not for me.

Oct. 2023: Stopped at this store seeking end tables and other household items for our rental condo and walked away empty handed. As with most consignment stores prices are varied and it's a mixed bag of inventory. Selection was pretty good, but prices were absolute astronomical. There were a couple hand painted shabby chic end tables that looked as if they were garage sale worthy priced at $100 Store attendant greeted us & said goodbye but made no effort to engage otherwise, which was fine. I probably will not be back. Given that our reason for shopping was to replace lost, broken and damaged/abused rental property items.. the price points are very off putting, but I did recognize a couple quality items (still over priced) but would try negotiating the prices. Also, don't be put off by the very rough exterior- it's very rough to say the least.

Was pleasantly surprised at the offerings they had and will be returning. The prices were a little bizarre as some things were cheaper and others marked way up. I was a little thrown off how me and my friend weren't greeted (undoubtedly because I look different) but every single other customer was. After looking at something we were eventually acknowledged. I left empty handed but will probably return soon to snag some things I should've gotten anyway. Mixed bag this place.

I wish so that Upscale Resale was located where I live. I always find consignment and thrift shops when on vacation, and boy, oh boy, am I glad I found this treasure spot.Whenever I'm in North Myrtle I'll visit again and again. Thank you to the sales lady at the register who was extra pleasant.

Love stopping in to Upscale Resale. Wide variety of items and the inventory changes daily. Fairly priced compared to having to purchase items new. Have you gone in to a new furniture store lately? Yikes! I will stick to purchasing at consignments and get nice furniture at a great price. Staff is always friendly and helpful here!

Over priced bigtime don't waist your time I like thrifts store that folks wanna sell stuff.Folks gonna walk prices are set too high gotta work and negotiate prices set prices for thrifts stores remember this is donated goods yall so there you go !

Extremely high prices. A lot of items that are used are priced at or above retail. Very cluttered with very awkward walk ways that could be considered a safety and fire hazard. I won’t be going back!

This is one of our favorite stops when shopping for our home in NMB.Always changing stock, prices are very visible and decent! Owner/employees are pleasant and helpful! Don't miss this great shop!!

This business owner is pleasant every time I visit. Staff too. All very hardworking and helpful and tell you markdown colors which are posted everywhere as well. Some good bargains. Good variety of styles too. A treasure for everyone. Furniture and household items turn over fast. You snooze you lose. Most items are in very good condition. Some reviewers say some items are a bit overpriced but it sure beats going down to shop in Myrtle. I have found some very good quality pieces.

Started writing my whole experience here but I thought to myself let me keep it short and simple. Make it easier. 1. Shery or Sheryl ( not sure of her name)was great very welcoming. 2. The other worker was racially profiling my family and I from the moment we entered the store. Imagine having to explain to your 9 year old child , our check out transaction was extremely different then the person who paid before us due to our skin color. Definitely NOT what I was expecting after a buzy month working in the medical field. We were there Sunday October 9th around 3 pm.

I did not find a single upscale item. Is a thrift store iMHO. Prices are high. Don't waste your time.
