What does it mean to tell an employee they are being let go because "they don't fit into their culture"? After being labeled employee of the month and a raise all in one week or two to "you don't fit into our culture". Is it ethnicity? Is it the ability to "show up" everyone around them and outshine them. Is the lack of being a yes employee when some others are slack on the job, don't show up, call out or just no call no show at all. Is not fitting into the culture meaning not dumb but instead too intelligent? Is fitting into the culture mean not like the rest? I'd encourage everyone to read an article I found and copied here. I am curious. How does the food taste now that you have effectively rid yourself of what could have been a great employee because of intimidation or jealousy? You should be extremely cautious when saying these kinds of things to probably one of the only Hawaiians you employed. Other Hawaiians/Polynesian people may feel like the company doesn't fit their culture or respect their people. The world is moving towards a place of constant inclusivity. Diversity at Every turn. Those who think small and box themselves in will find themselves just that when they could be so much greater than they are. Such a shame. Sad to say I'd never even heard of the place before the employee was hired. Culture.... Of stolen land from my people who were massacred for it. Just one more thing... He doesn't have a little black girlfriend. He has a little Lumbee, Native American wife.

Older guy working register is rude and acts like he could care less if he waits on customers. Owner - Do yourself a favor and get rid of this guy. He is hurting your business. Looks like he has created a name for himself by reading all the other reviews. I will go to Circle K later this week when I need to fill up. Good riddance!

I needed a self service car wash like back home. I found this place and drove the 3 miles. Clean property, clean bays and easy in and out. I arrived at 645 am to an empty wash. They have self bays and one automatic. I yes the second bay from the left. $2 to start and everything worked as normal. I used the soap, wax and rinse. My car looked great after I used my shammy.

The older man at the register was trying to refuse me juul pods... I have a valid ID from the NC DMV that says I'm almost 22... AND my ID was scanned and accepted and he still tried to refuse sale to me. What is up with that? Kinda ridiculous how I can go anywhere and buy beer, but can't buy nicotine from this Shell because I look young. RIDICULOUS.

Convenient and very friendly staff gas prices pretty reasonable it's cigarette prices not very reasonable but overall it's a great place barbecue sandwiches hamburgers breakfast biscuits and they made some delicious homemade cookies always clean
