Although the property is showing its age, the rooms were clean and everything worked. The beds were comfortableNearby activities: Oceanfront resort on the wide beach at North Myrtle Beach.

The front desk staff is great and friendly. However, housekeeping is another story. Unfortunately, I left my shower cap and bonnet behind the bathroom door whenChecking out. When I asked for it, it couldn't be found. Did housekeeping trash it or keep it??!!Walkability: Walking distance to everything. Easy and fun way to get steps in

Our room was not cleaned good and we had dead bugs on the floor. Balcony was too dirty to sit out on. Hot water too a long time to get to the shower. Microwave didn't work. We had to clean before we could unpack. No other rooms were available. Beds were comfortable.

Great beachfront area. Beautiful pools! Facility in need of new paint and updates but very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.Nearby activities: Parasailing and many other activities just down the beach. Loved the beachfront bars with live music and good bar food. Close to food stores also.

We checked in at Peppertree Ocean Club Resort on 08/27/2023 on an exchange with our timeshare. Immediately upon entering our room, we saw hand prints and fingerprints on the sliding glass door, we saw several strands of human hair stuck on the bathroom door and a long head hair on the tissue box on the bathroom sink. We also noticed hair in the bathtub. We noticed sand on the floor beside the couch. Also noticed was black hand and fingerprints on the white coffee table. This room was disgustingly unclean. Part of the resort building has been torn down and hauled away. The overall condition of the resort inside and outside is run down. The staff at the front desk was pleasant, and check-in was smooth. We checked out of the resort less than 24 hours for the overall uncleanlines of the resort. Upon arriving home, I called and left a message for the general manager of the resort to call back on 08/28. After the 5th call on 09/06, (9 days later) did the general manager of the resort called me back. I do not recommend this resort.

The room was disgusting. We had to clean the floors because it was just so dirty. We couldn't use the dishwasher because it was broken, cabinet doors were broken. They've let the place get run down. It did match the rest of the area though.

If you're looking for a getaway spot right on the ocean then this is it! Affordable and the perfect amount of space. We had a two bedroom suite that came with a kitchen big enough to cook our meals and plenty of dining room. This resort has two large pools and multiple hot tubs with beach access right outside the gates. Highly recommend staying here! Great for kids and adults!Nearby activities: Bolineau's is right up the street and has great food, groceries, ice cream and souvenirs!

We had a great time!! Great place to stay. Pools and beach access were great. Staff were friendly. Some construction going on so would have like to had easier access to the beach access and pool on our side of the building, but only because we needed handicapped access, still doable, but would have been easier if that was the case. We however did not book a complete handicapped room as when we did our booking at the last minute it was this room or no room at all. Seems the indoor pool was taken out and maybe that part of the building is getting rebuilt... Would definitely go back!

So, if you are looking for the Carlton or Ritz, this is not the place for you. Yes, the property needs a serious upgrade. The rooms need to be remodeled. Our TV was broken on one side and only showed half a screen. I would have prefered different flooring (like an LVT in the room part). However, these are trifle things compared to actual stay. The place itself was clean and safe. Right on the beach and easily accessible. The parking was a little weird if you had to part across the street but still not bad. The staff was amazing. the room was a great size with a full kitchen (stove, refrigerator, microwave). The bathroom was a good size where you didn't feel like you had to open the door to have enough room to function. It was a great location. I would definitely stay again. Be aware though, that even if it has a balcony rail, doesn't mean it has a balcony. Our room had a window that opened like a balcony door and railings, but not an actual balcony (see pictures). And the only other things that the property can't really control was that it would reek of weed pretty much all day long coming from rooms and pool areas (not a prude, just allergic). But again, would stay again no problem.

A dead roach greeted my arrival in front of the kitchen sink. The building is old and in need of much repair. Our window on the 3rd floor did not lock. But the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, the staff was accomodating, and the waterfront view was amazing.Rooms: The 2 bedroom models have attached bathrooms in both. Clean and comfortable as wellWalkability: The rooms have access to an amazing view and wonderful sounds of crashing waves. There is beach access a short distance from the rooms.

Update: They tried to offer the only available room to us although the location is almost the same. It is right across the trash station. Declined as it makes no difference. We request the resort to spray whatever bug repellent they have outside our room. They agreed to it but basically not much solution with the so called “palmetto bug”I guess I am among the unlucky group here. The location is good. The resort is located in N myrtle beach so it is less crowded. Easy access to the beach, my kids have fun with the outdoor pool as well. Now here is the bad parts. First of all, we didn’t get a notice about noisy work until 3 days before our vacation. Luckily we didn’t notice anything during our stay. If you expect to have any service, don’t stay here. You have to bring your towels to them and get it exchanged. You have to throw away your own trash and get the trash bag yourself. We are relatively private family. So I am totally fine with it. Don’t walk around the room with barefoot. My family never did but my toddler occasionally tries to roam free, ends with dark feet. Guess they never full clean the room. Don’t expect to cook even it has a stove. Their pots/pans have rust all over. The room is outdated but it is manageable. The worst part: the designated trash station and smoker’s trash can are right next to my hotel room. Every time I go back or leave my room, I have to walk pass a group of trash carts and a trash can that is full of cigarette butts. Unfortunately I have a strong reaction to cigarette. I have headache everyday even my husband removed that trash can sightly a away from our room. Ohh, btw, to staying in a room next to trash carts, it means you would constantly hear people throwing away their trash bags and you would see big fat American cockroach inside your room. One of my kid was terrified. No vacancy means I couldn’t even change to another room. So I had to be really careful with our kitchen trash. Highly recommend to make a special request for not to have a room next to trash station.

This place is a dive! We came here for a time share presentation through Wyndham. We enter our room and there’s a leak on the floor, everything is old and outdated, there’s a dirty cleaning rag on the floor behind the door and when doing our routine check for bedbugs we discovered blood stains on the mattress cover. The fridge is rusted and dinted. Very disappointed and disgusted. We’re looking for another hotel to stay in.Rooms: Disgusting

We live on the beach in NC but when the grandkids come we stay down here for the pools, small kids. There was no parking due to construction that should have been done off season, but I parked near the room luckily, but the kids with their little kids had to park across the street. That was fun for them, not. But we had our 2 bedroom at one end and they were as far away as possible, ok by me. They got to enjoy the pile driving for a new pier and other construction related to Peppertree. Two tips, check ahead to find out about construction before you book and if you plan on cooking out, forget it, 6 grills 1 half of 1 was working, these things could be done off season, but hey, we had fun, the kids? Not as much, but they didn't pay.???Rooms: Fair on all.Safety: 3 year olds crossing 4 lances of traffic. Not safe.

We were a little worried reading some of the reviews. Room had a couple small cosmetic problems, but was clean and the bed was comfortable.
