I came to Myrtle Beach for a late summer vacation and stopped in at Monkee's at Barefoot Landing. Everyone was very friendly and to my luck they had a huge summer sale. I bought three tops and they all looked great and were very good quality. I even bought a few more things online that I liked and had shipped to my house. Thanks Monkee's of Myrtle Beach for a great shopping experience!

I walked in the store and no hello, and I was not acknowledged. They were not busy. I felt very uncomfortable, like I was a bother to ask if I needed anything. Not a friendly place! I saw a dress, purse, and a pair of sneakers I would probably have purchased. This is not a cheap store! I would have spent around $450 if I purchased those three items. There was a black girl who worked there with a sweater like a skirt at a top. Her skirt was see-through. They ACT like they are a classy store but unfortunately didn't hit the mark. Unless they see your $ you will not be acknowledged. Go elsewhere!

Went to purchase a few items for my girlfriend, and I found a lot of items I liked. Sadly, I left with nothing.
As she does not live in town, their return policy seems a little archaic.
All returns are 7 days only, and never for a refund store credit only. Now, this may be the norm with women's clothing, but I would be hard pressed to purchase a $2700.00 pursue and haul it across the state only to find she doesn't like it.
Why wouldn't I just purchase the item at a chain that will honor a husband or boyfriend's bad decision-making?
Staff was very friendly and helpful at every turn, even suggested I purchase a gift card.
Overall, for a woman who knows what she wants, it's a big thumbs up, but guys, you better know what you're buying because there are no do overs here.
Below are items I wanted but to afraid she would not like them.

Monkees MB is the best! Always a great selection at different price points and such a fun store to shop! The sales team is pleasant and I find extremely helpful. When I stopped in searching for the prefect dress as a guest at a destination wedding they helped select multiple dresses and found the perfect one. And recently when I was out of town and saw a dress on the website I called asking a bunch of questions on color, size and fit and they were so awesome she tried the dress on and texted me pictures! The young ladies making shopping easy and fun. Great store, A+ service and a go to for me!

I purchased a pair of Good American Cinderella shoes from Monkee’s in November. Christmas morning my girlfriend opened them and she noticed they were worn. Soles were all scratched up and scuffed! The shoes had black marks on them and the plastic looked dingy. Ruined my Christmas! I was so embarrassed. I don’t understand how they can sell a product at full price when I can get a better product off the real real. For half the price. If you order make sure you ask if they have been worn.

I purchased Good American Cinderella shoes from Monkee’s for my girlfriend for Christmas. She opened them up yesterday and they looked like they have been worn. I was so embarrassed. The soles were all scratched up. Back of the heel has black marks all over it. And the shoe just look dingy. They should get better quality control and if you’re going to sell shoes like that, give a heads up and definitely shouldn’t have to pay full price. Thank you monkee for making this Christmas a great one!!!

Went in here about 6 months ago and was completely ignored. Made to feel like I wasn’t welcomed. Catered to another customer (only other one). I did purchase a few things. Great selection and aesthetics… I’ve been to luxury boutiques in big cities that treat you better.

Cannot say enough about how helpful Sydney and Mandi are! I ❤️ the selection at the MB store and the customer service is next level level. I’m often stopping in after a day on the boat in a coverup and still treated like a Queen. These ladies helped me choose a dress for an impromptu overnight stay and even made my dinner reservations! I can’t thank you enough for your consistent selection and customer service!

I come to north Myrtle often from NYC to visit family - I always make it a priority to hit monkees first, they have a great assortment! The past couple visits were pretty unfortunate, walked through the door and was just stared at. Wanted to purchase a few things but didn’t even feel comfortable. Really need to work on welcoming your customers.
