What a difference losing one key employee can make. Miranda is gone. I went back to Lowes and they did not have one single cashier working a register to check out on. This is not a grocery store. I am not able to lift every item--especially the over one hundred pound items uptp the scan screen--so I just left the store--just like Lowes is leaving all their elderly customers who have shopped there for fifty years behind. Lowes can not train me like a monkey to do my own checkout. That is your job--not mine. I am not like Arnold--I will not be back unless I hear you have living people working the check out registers. Miranda used to check me and my goods out from her work station.

Terrible service.Lied to me on something, not in stock, very rude, not pleasant at all, and seem to talk down to you. The customer next to me also had issues with this lady. Never again.

Been here multiple times as a new homeowner in the area.... Every time we have been here it's been nothing but pleasant.. The staff has been beyond helpful every time... with that a big big shout out to Brooks who is one of their best ... he has gone out of the way multiple times to make sure everything goes smoothly 15/10 would recommend and if you happen to go in tell Brooks hello!!

Zero stars!!! Never, Ever, Ever.....buy a refrigerator from Lowe's, especially in NMB, SC. If you have a problem and it is defective as it was in my case, NO ONE there helps you. There is NO manager around and the assistant manager and appliance manager NEVER return a call. After getting approval from Frigidaire to exchange the defective one for a new one, I called every day for 5 days and NO ONE returned a call. I even went into the store to discuss it but got NO where because there is NO manager or leader to take responsibility and resolve an issue. By the 5th day, I called the corp headquarters and they were able to connect me to the appliance manager. Now get this, she said I had to return the refrigerator first, get a credit and then process a new purchase. They would pick up the defective refrigerator on Saturday and deliver a new one on Sunday. I told her I had about $100 worth of food and frozen meat in it and it could possibly spoil. But that was Lowe's return policy, and she would call me back on Saturday to confirm the transaction and new delivery time. So I had to go out and buy a cooler and ice packs to try and save some of this food. She never called back and, of course, no delivery was set up for Sunday. I called the corp headquarters again on Sunday and they did confirm the transaction was processed but the delivery would not occur until Monday. I told her by that point the food would spoil and asked if I could get a credit or reimbursement for the food, and she said there was nothing they could do about that (even though this was all caused by their defective product and ridiculous return policy). The new refrigerator was delivered on Monday and, of course, all of the frozen items were defrosted and had to be thrown out. I could salvage some of the other things. No one in this STORE ever apologized for the inconvenience it caused me, and the loss I incurred. Shouldn't their training involve basic common courtesy to the customers that keep them in business? It appears they are only trained to make sales and have no care or concern for the customer after that is done. I usually don't complain, but this was the most upsetting and frustrating week long experience I've ever had and I will NEVER step foot in a Lowe's store again. Shame on you Lowes!!!!!

The removal of the veterans discount (10%) from almost everything is very disappointing. My dad would drive past every Home Depot because Lowe's honored this. I guess we will just compare prices going forward.

Zero stars. Had to return a guaranteed tool for third time. A portly John in tools told me he would not honor the guarantee. I asked for a manager and was told there were NO managers on duty that day. John Laughed and said I could go to China to the factory if I wanted. On the way out another employee confided in me... "thats what you get when you buy shit tools from lowes, you should have gone to Home Depot". No pride, No customer service.

Do NOT bother to call this store! It is impossible to be transferred internally, - and no one ever picks up....they're always "in meetings". Management at this store likely has NO IDEA how bad it is! When I requested to speak with a manager (about my order), I was told they were "in a meeting". This has to be one of the WORST stores in the Lowes' chain!!

I ordered a refrigerator , when I ordered it I specially stated the doors needed to open right to left , when it was delivered the doors swung open the opposite of what I ordered , the delivery men stated switching the doors was not their job and the ice maker I ordered was not with them as well, I called the store , they said the ice maker was sitting right there and someone would be there to switch doors and install the ice maker, someone showed up with the ice maker and said the two delivery people would be back to switch the doors and install the ice maker , they came , switched the doors and stated the wrong ice maker was delivered and ran out the door, I then noticed a bracket on the now opening side of the fridge sticking out 2 inches , again I called , was told someone would get back to me , 23 calls later -no one has gotten back to me , AVOID Lowes at all cost !!! What a nightmare

I am never buying appliances from Lowes at North Myrtle Beach. My opinion is that if you must buy a Lowes appliance take it out the door yourself and install it yourself. As for me I will never buy another appliance from them. I bought an LG 23.8 cu ft top freezer refrigerator for my rental condo in late May, 2022. Very pleased with the LG refrigerator I saw on display. My problems started after the purchase upon delivery of the refrigerator one week later. The installation crew arrived on time but seemed to be in a hurry. They bumped into my entrance way walls and corner. I thought they should have been more careful. After the refrigerator was placed I ask them to reverse the the swing of the refrigerator door but they would not because they didn't have a work order for that. Why couldn't they take 15 minutes and reverse the swing. Stay with me please. They took my old refrigerator out the door for recycling. Upon pealing of the protective firm off the door a large bent was quickly noted in the center of the stainless steal door. I went to Lowes the next day and talked to Amanda in shipping . She gave me a discount on the refrigerator which I accepted due to time restraints at NMB. She wrote a work order for the door swing on the day I was leaving NMB. On that day the installation crew did not show up. I waited 7 hours for them to show. I got a call later at 5:15pm stating that they had had a busy day and that I would have to reschedule. No apology at all. I told them I could not reschedule as I would not be in the area for several months. I finally left to return home to Cary to see my grandson's baseball game. I called Lowes the next day and talked to Daniel the assistant manager. I was put on call for 25 minutes for the opportunity. I explained to Daniel that I rent my condo through a rental agent so they would have to contact them as I would not be in North Myrtle Beach. He said he would call the regional manage and arrange a fix. I gave them proper numbers to arrange entry. I reiterated that I would not be at my condo so they would need to call rental company for entrance to my condo. The next day I got a voice mail from the installer stating that they would come from 8-12 am. Of course by now I was back home in Cary,NC. They left me a number to call. I thought it would be a direct line but the number connected me to the front desk at Lowes. I knew I was in trouble. After calling the number I was put on hold for 48 minutes. I tried again but the line went silent. After several tries to get thru to some one to help me I realized that I was was waisting my time dealing with Lowes. I contacted my rental company the next day to arrange for MR APPLIANCE to correct the door swing Lowes should have done on delivery. My experience is that Lowes delivery service and management are incompetent. If you must by an appliance at Lowes NMB take it home with you and install it yourself.

We shop at Lowes in North Myrtle Beach all the time. Or at least we did. Last week purchased a refrigerator that was in the back of the store. Had to wait a week for delivery. Said we would receive between 12 and 4. Took time off of work, put our things in coolers and waited. At 7p, spent 30 minutes to get a rep from 800 Number ( the store would not answer) and long story short...said we may or may not get it tonight...probably not til 5 days later. And said the contractor drivers said they called 3 times which was a LIE!!! Barely got a sorry. No compensation. No "please let us fix this". No nothing!!! Long time customer is now a thing of the past because you had to save a dollar to contract deliveries. I know we are a drop in the bucket and you won't miss us but we promise to share this story far and wide!!!

We were in great need of getting help with oainting our pvc chair rail last night. Thank God Mo was working. He explained how to do it and he was so pleasant. We made 3 trips because nothing was working from previous advise received. Mo knew what he was talking about. If you need good educated advise on anything in the paint department.... The North Myrtle Beach Lowes is the worst Lowes I have ever tried to work with. I will make a long story short. We have tried to buy a refrigerator since June, 2021 from them. The first time, the company that delivers a refrigerator came to my condo. I went to greet them & they left & would not deliver. We talked to Lowes forever but nothing done! We decided to give them another chance. Went last week, and took an hour to speak to sales person! Other people in line were waiting for items up to a month. We finally purchased a refrigerator. We were called from delivery to receive refrigerator this past Thursday morning by 12:00 am. We cleaned out old refrigerator, got up early to wait. We got a call at 9:30 am from sales person stating they gave our refrigerator to someone else! I asked how they could give it to someone when we already paid for it! They had no answer!! Just said we can get you another one on Saturday! I have talked to everyone I can and they had no reason or answer! I have had to go through an ordeal to get payment off my Lowe's charge card! I have never had such problems with Lowe's anywhere else! The sad thing is they don't care or make things right!

Elsie was extremely helpful in the garden section. There weren't enough fence panels for our project so she took the time to call two different stores and make sure they set aside what we needed. I will definitely be returning to this location for all my needs from now on purely based on Elsie's customer service.

If there was a way to leave a negative star, the north Myrtle Beach Lowe's store would get it! After paying for windows and doors the wrong items were delivered, replacement items were not reordered (yes, the request was made) and after being told the new items were in, we went to the store to arrange delivery and the items were not there. Customer service is inept, management is incompetent, and my formal recommendation is that all Myrtle Beach residents save the inevitable headache and frustration and find another place to do business. These people do not deserve to remain in operation!

This store has horrible management and the front desk employees are very rude!! The cabinet department never answers their phone so I had to take my business to another Lowe's. I spoke with the store manager several times with no resolution; they still don't answer their phones.
