Grant is the man! He has the best prices in and around Myrtle. He’s normally my go to person/ shop, when I’m trying to find something new. He has a great selection, and knows his stuff!
Be patient, he’s a one man band running 2 small businesses, but one hell of a guy!

This is a great gun store they have a lot of vintage and modern guns available a very good selection. Grant the owner can help you in what you are looking for and if he doesn't have it in stock he can locate it for you he is always a nice person to deal with and that's why I give Brown & Son Guns a five star rating! ?

I needed a small part and was looking around and found this place. Even though he didn’t have my part , the owner was very polite and provided me with great customer service .

Visited this place yesterday and Grant has a nice down home attitude. Enough that I sit in a chair and talked a bit. A must see gun shop if you still appreciate revolvers as well semi automatics handguns. By far the best selection when it comes to variety. Very knowledgeable about the industry!

Made a transfer at Brown & Son Guns earlier this week. It was a most pleasant experience. Grants knowledge and honesty will have me returning to the business.

My husband was very pleased with this company. He ordered the gun and it came in within a week. There was a short delay with his military clearance, but that was not anything out the ordinary. We recommend Browns and son guns !

Been in that gun store several times and always enjoyed my time. Grant has always been very helpful and super friendly. I bought a Ruger hand gun from them and he treated me right. I do highly recommend this gun shop for all of your future needs.Ron Wright Myrtle Beach.

Didn’t seem interested in selling anything. Was in his laptop and briefly replied if I asked him about something. He had several items online that wasn’t in the store when I got there. Could be a nice little place of business with interest shown towards the customer wanting to spend money with them.

The store is difficult to find, and the sign on the building highlights it more as a computer repair shop than a gun store. They do both, but if you didn't know that beforehand and are looking for a building highlighting gun sales you'll most likely drive by it. For some reason they won't sell ammo to you unless you buy a gun from them. Not sure as to why, but it seems like an odd business choice. What's even more odd is that they have a wide variety of ammo calibers, but don't have guns to sell chambered in all of them. This means that they (in some cases) have 10 boxes of ammo that they will only sell you if you're purchasing a gun, and not a single gun in store that will accept those rounds. I know it's best to support local businesses, but what am l supposed to do when they don't want the business? Buy online l guess. It's too bad really. They seem like nice enough people, but if they don't want my money l see no reason to ever go there in the future. In response to the owner: My reveiw will remain 2 stars, because it's based on my experience in your store not the petty childish response of a "grown man" who got his feelings hurt by a review. Everything l stated in my reveiw was true. In which case, there is no reason for anyone who is only looking to buy ammo to waste their time and yours if you have no intention to sell them any. It's also quite dishonest of you to insinuate that you don't have ammo to sell. There is a large difference between a store that is out of stock, and a store that won't sell their stock. Also, since you brought it up, l have yet to ever walk into a store with toilet paper in stock and be told that l couldn't buy it without purchasing a toilet first. That's a far more accurate analogy and honest description of the way you are currently doing business. If the only way you have of dealing with dissatisfied customers is by calling them names and trying to insult them, then perhaps this isn't really the best career path for you.

To be honest, I've done business with Mr. Grant on several occasions and never really had any bad experiences. You've got to support your LGS, and most importantly, be patient and respectful. Especially, most LGS are doing what they can to serve its customers during these times where everything is in high demand.
