If I could give a negative star rating, I would. They are currently trying to charge me for equipment that I returned 3 years ago. The service speed is dreadful, customer service awful, and whatever temporary cost reduction you get is NOT WORTH IT. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

Customer service reps are great. My only issue is with the connection in our area. I work from home and have to call I’ve the internet. Upgraded our home from 500 to 1.2 gig speed. Once I did that all of my calls were dropping. Like 400-500 times a week. Confirmed it was the network and not the hardwire or software. I now have to use my hotspot and cellular internet and have 2 internets for our home. Wow for our smart home tech and T-mobile home internet for my work as their connection is weak but it does not drop my calls. Have had 3 tech visits and wow keeps saying it’s not their network. But if the same thing works on a different network and nothing is changed then that means it’s the network. But they keep denying. The problem is - I don’t think they can see the connection drop as it happens in the milliseconds and doesn’t disconnect the vpn just drops the calls.

**Wow is very good at publicly responding to reviews, but when you call, they do nothing. You speak to an overseas rep who sticks to the script of “We’re sorry, but we’re unable to do anything.”I’ll preface this by saying, I’ve never written a bad review for a business. As a business owner, I know that creating a quality lient experience can be very hard, so try to avoid leaving negative reviews. Here’s why Wow is the exception.I requested to switch to business service in October of 2021 so that I could have a static IP. Their notes state that I requested a “switch”.The switch I requested happened. However because as I now know, business and residential services within this company are separate and do not communicate, my residential service was never terminated.I was not advised during the switching process that I had to make a separate call to the residential side and cancel. They both share the same number. I didn’t know then they don’t communicate. As a customer, they require auto-draft, which I had pulled from my business credit card tracked by my bookkeeper. Since the switch, she never noticed that I was being billed twice by Wow - for a residential and business account to the same modem.Because of billing dates, the charge didn’t always appear twice on the same cc statement and when it did, there’s no written difference between business and residential charges. So I’ve payed approximately $2K for a residential service I never received, because you can’t have 2 internet services sent to the same modem. However they do have the technology to bill you for it and refuse to refund you when you realize the residential account was never cancelled.I run a small business, and am constantly going above and beyond to satisfy my customers. If I ran a 1.148 billion dollar company like Wow, that charged a customer $2K for a service they never received and were never advised to cancel, I’d refund them in a heartbeat. Or at least offer a partial refund. Not Wow.I’m told by a supervisor at their customer service area, they are unable to refund.

The worst company ever! Bunch of scumbags who run this organization. I cancelled my services and returned the equipment. Wow never did because they called it an "issue". What a bunch of awful and terrible human beings. Wow is trying to ruin former customers credits utilizing this maneuver. Please stay away from them!

This company is still charging my credit card even after I cancelled. I have made a claim with my credit card in the hopes they can get this settled as I do not want to pay for a service I no longer use and cancelled! I have many, many more complaints but at this point I just want to be free of this terrible company.

If I could leave no stars I would. It is literally the worst internet service I've ever had in my entire life. No exaggeration. My partner has wow. I had spectrum. Moved in with him and his horrible internet service and quickly convinced him to switch to spectrum.

The customer service via technician level of concern for the clients ranks at 1. They do not or has not incorporated a reaction plan to contact a client if the traditional door bell does not give a response. The contact number is not used unless the client requests this service. However, texts are sent relentlessly. If you have a option to choose another carrier, DO it! signed , not happy but stuck!

What an extremely terrible experience. The technician suggested what I should have... which put my bill at 90 dollars. They lied. Do not trust them. Do not use them.

WOW is horrible. They keep giving a run-around that they cannot bury the orange cable that has been in front of my house for 4+ months because the city has not approved the permit request. That was a red flag because I do not live in a city but a town. I spoke with our town capital projects manager and he verified that WOW has never sent over a permit for my street. WOW needs to care more about their customers.

I must say, I initially thought wow service would be a better service, but every since we had wow service we have been having trouble with the internet going in and out and they seem to have no ability to correct the problem even though they fix the problem for the moment and the service continued to go in and out after speaking with them and even after technicians came out. And now, after they have switched to a wireless internet connection to watch tv, it’s even worse, and the internet an tv goes out at least 7 to 10 times a day, sometimes taking 10 to 20 minutes to come back up, or until we unplug box for it to reboot in order to come back up. Trying to watch a movie right now, and service went out, no tv or internet now, and on the phone now for 20 minutes waiting for a rep to come on the phone to offer their apologies as always for not being able to fix a problem the know they can’t fix permanently, and try to make you feel like it’s only a temporary issue. This is ridiculous, and this happens all day everyday and we still have to pay the same price each month for such a pitiful service we can barely utilize. Thank God for choices!!!My advice, don’t get wow services if you have any other options. They provide the worse services I have seen anywhere but they want their money on time every month. We are switching to another service provider. I would advise anyone with wow to do the same. Awful service for the money!!!

EVERY TIME I TURN ON BOX, I haft to go into settings, go to app and clear cache, if not I get an error code I think PBR 401.

The WoW internet service is far better than the alternatives here. Techs are just one notch above terrible though. But who doesn't like cables run across the floor of your bedroom after being installed on the wrong wall?

Please do yourself a favor and don’t use this company! They never picked up my call for cancellation and then after 1 year they refused to refund for unused service. New way to rob money?
