Went ro get a new trimmer. I spent 15 minutes looking for someone to open the case once I was finally able to make my purchase upon leaving the person at the door sees I have a stapled closed bag with a Receipt stapled to it. I flash him the receipt. He tries to stop me again. I tell him the bag is stapled closed. There's no reason for you to stop me. At which point he starts to threaten me. I am so tired of going into the store. Spending my money and being treated like a criminal. It has always been the responsibility of retail stores. To deal with their own loss prevention without impacting the people that come in there as honest customers. It is a horrible experience every time. I go into the store and I only go there when I absolutely have to.

Enough is enough. Every time you go shopping at this Walmart they are constantly changing their policy. Your self checkout should be open for whoever chooses to use them. There was no sign saying 15 items or less. Your checkers in the self checkout lanes are rude. Walmart you need to be concerned about how your customers feel not your corporate opinions.

On July 7, 2024 at about 6:00 PM, I entered the Wal-Mart located at 7400 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston. I needed two items, one from Sporting Goods and one from Housewares. Even with every check-out having a line, this should have been a relatively quick trip.
It was not.
First stop was in Sporting goods where I found the cleaning patches to be in a locked case. Strange that cut up cloth would be a high dollar shoplifting item, but I set off to locate an employee to assist.
I found one in Hardware and explained what I needed. He responded with "No English." Being a border state, I use my very poor Spanish skills to ask for help. This prompts the associate to use a translating app on his phone. He explains he does not have keys, but associates in Electronics do.
I go to electronics and wait in line, finally meeting a young lady, who returns to college August 16 according to her conversation with the young man in line in front of me. I explain what I need and she says she will help me after the customer behind me and I should wait in Sporting Goods. I return to Sporting Goods at 6:14 PM.
I wait a few minutes and see the other Electronucs employee coming my way. He turns up the first aisle in Automotive and disappears.
I continue to wait, a total of six minutes (I like round numbers). I return to Electronics and see the lady finishing a sale of two televisions. She then departs and asks me if he, the other employee, saw me. I replied no. She said she told him to go to Hardware. I told her that I was standing by the end and watched the guy go and die Automotive. She said she had to leave, but I could wait in line and the other guy would help me. I asked if she could Call Manager who could help me and she said no.
So, in line I wait. The guy finally asked me if I was ringing something up and I advise that I was not. I told him that I needed a key in Sporting Goods. He said that I could go wait and he would be with me shortly. I politely declined, seeing the growing line in Electronics so that they could avoid using the front check out. I told him that it had been 20 minutes. At this point I would wait in line. He assisted me. And I was able to make my simple purchase.
Nothing else that I needed was behind a locked case. The remainder of my time in the store and by much quicker.

As a Uber eats driver, the new brown paper bags with the handles aren't gonna work for us. And if you think your customers are gonna pay extra for them, I want what you're smoking.
They are cheap. The handles come out under the lightest load. The slightest dampness makes them rip easily. They are not good for any thing that's glass. All I heard was jars rattling in my backseat. And most of all they take up a lot more room.

Last night after work I stopped in to pick up my medicine before 7pm before they closed and after that I was going to shop around the Walmart like always I went over to the makeup isle and went our the area like I always do but this time I was stopped by a worker saying I needed to pay for my things with her I said lady I am not finished with my shopping in the store so I would pay for all my things at once at 1 register ,and wanted to finish my shopping and then I was approached by a young guy and young lady says u needed to pay for my items with the lady I explained to them as well that I wasn't finished with my shopping and I have never heard I had to pay for my items there if I was still.shopping never had this happen to me and I always shop at this Walmart spend lots of $ there because it's close to where I live and then another lady came saying why didn't I pay for the items with the lady I explained. To them once again I get off at 630pm from work to drive to pick up my medicine and after that I was going to shop around Walmart like I always do and never had this approach to me and them came a fat white lady with the police and I once again explained I am not done shopping so why should I pay for 2 separate orders if I wasn't done shopping ,i was told by that white fat lady then if you aren't going to pay for that then I can just leave mine you I have things in my cart I had to leave behind because I refused to pay 2 separately orders and if anyone know those little departments don't have scales for weight able items and they can only check you out with under 20 items or less ,I will never return to that walmart again ,they lost a customer who always spends money in there,I felt picked on I felt they think I was stealing I will never steal I have my family to think about and for them to make a seen like that I feel hurt just because I wasn't done shopping I steal needed to buy groceries and stuff and that would be me paying more taxes for 2 separately transactions so please be prepared when you go to that walmart 7400 rivers ave north charleston sc 29406 do you groceries shopping first and if you need to but things out of that area do that last because I still feel attacked by them as of I had spoken something I would never do that I am going to get a lawyer to sue for the attack they did with me all I was doing is getting my shopping done and couldn't even do that just for a few items I wouldn't pay for separately would never pay in 2 parts on paying more taxes for them if all I wanted to do is continue shopping and pay everything all at once
