We took our 4 dogs to a local Vetco Clinic at Petco in Charleston, SC for their yearly vaccines and heart worm tests. We bought our first 6 month Simparico Trio for each dog from them. When I tried to refill for the next 6 months from another online prescription pharmacy, the veterinarian filled one that I needed. Now trying to get my other 2 dogs prescription’s filled, veterinarian declined. Heartworm tests are good for 1 year! Allivet Pharmacy said they would refill if I had an original prescription. Vetco Clinic only provides emailed records and prescription’s. Vetco Clinic’s customer service was not helpful, and suggested I bring my pets in to a clinic! This is unacceptable. I have a right to order my refills through any pharmacy’s. I plan to file a complaint against Vetco Clinic’s and possible Petco. Total scam to get refills through them!

I have used VETCO for a vaccine clinic because the prices were cheaper. The veterinarian giving vaccines was very professional along with the staff and it was very organized and they cleaned in between each animal. Will definitely use them again.

Vetco clinic uses deceptive practices! They say they do not charge to see the doctor on the front end. When you asked for a prescription to go get your medicine filled somewhere else because their medicine is $80 more. They tell you have to buy at least one dose from them before they can write a prescription. They do not write prescriptions. They say they email it to you, when you go to look up your prescription and get it filled, there’s no prescription. If you call their customer service they tell you must bring your dogs and make another visit to get a prescription. I did this with my dogs and waited over 30 minutes for them to figure out how to write me a prescription and still somehow did not list any medication. Again, asking me to pay for another prescription for one month in the store. It is in their consent, form and agreement that you sign saying that you have the right to ask for a written prescription. I took the paperwork that they gave me to the pharmacy, there is no prescription listed I call the customer service again, and explain my situation. She tells me I again have to go back and have the dog seen at the clinic. and when I asked to speak with a manager, the customer service representative quit talking to me, and eventually just hung up the phone. I will be reporting them to the state board of veterinarians . They are making their money on the back end by over charging for medication and sell you test and shots you do not need! Don’t waste your time or money go to an established veterinarians office.

Purchased a green cheek conure on April 23rd. It was fine Friday the 23rd in the morning by the time I got back from work it had passed. Talk to the assistant manager and the store manager who never seems to be there said oh well its out of the 30 day return window. Now don't get me wrong if it was 6 months or a year I'd understand but an animal that should live close to 30 years and it doesn't make it 2 months. I have another conure in a cage beside him no issues. Don't spend on anything more expensive then a budgie 1000.00 for less then two months is a rip off

Amber at the Pet Salon is so amazing and knowledgeable. I took my dog Boo in for a nail clipping, and Amber took her time and gave me some very helpful information. She was personable, professional, and she has a real passion for canine health! I absolutely recommend Amber at Petco dog grooming.

Getting vaccinations for my baby was very pleasant. She was calm and they talked her and me through every step. I had a difficult day and my kitten had a rough start, Vetco was a breath of fresh air.

The one about that we saw not this time this last time by the time before was great but this one right here we pay for the vet yet we had to do all the work he didn’t give the dogs their medicine he did give the dogs flea stuff we had to do everything for the vet. My dog is 4 pounds and he was scared of my dog.

Today was an eventful day. While my oldest dog was being vaccinated, she started to have a seizure. The vet techs were patient and warm in helping me to calm her down. They provided me with advice to record the next seizure for the the vet appointment to follow up. Staff walked me to the front while holding my youngest dog and were very accommodating. I got to check out and realized I left my wallet at home. They were extremely patient and helpful in helping me download Apple Pay and figuring out how to use it. They truly went above and beyond for me and joy babies today! Thank you. Your kindness will not be forgotten.

Never returned my message and also picked up the phone and hung up. I tried calling back again and no answer!! Wow, how are we supposed to help aid in the population of unspayed and neutered animals?!?!

DO NOT BOOK GROOMING HERE AND DEFINITELY NOT WITH JESSCIA. I made my grooming appointment for my two Pomeranians a week in advance. I come in and drop off my two dogs at 10:30 PM and never got a phone call or text message concerning my two dogs when they were finished. I called the grooming department twice trying to check on my dogs and no one answered. My boyfriend calls the store and Anthony who worked the cashier answered, however, he wasn't able to get grooming to come to the phone. He said he would tell them to call me, they never called, It's 3:30 now. My boyfriend and I drove to Petco and when we arrive we noticed Jesscia realizing we are back. We saw her rush to get one of my dogs and is running to the grooming station. 5 hours have passed and she wasn't even finished grooming my dog. We also spoke with another woman who dropped off her dog at 1:30 PM and she got a text message saying her dog was finished with her grooming appointment. Jesscia and the two other women knew I was upset and never apologized for not prioritizing my dogs. Jesscia came out with my two dogs handed them into my hands and ran off to the back without addressing the problem because she knew she f***** up. Additionally, we when get in the car we realize that they weren't even finished grooming my dogs. It looks like their faces weren't even touched and the hair on their backs near their tails look butchered. I am not going to be paying almost $100 for grooming services when my dogs are spending the majority of their times locked up in a crate because the employees can't do their jobs in a timely matter or at least have the courtesy to answer the phone or give me a notice that it's taking longer than expected and they aren't even getting a quality cut.
