Complete waste of time. Was here at the time of my reservation, and the woman behind the cash register, who was very rude, at first tells me they don’t accept cash. Okay. I go to the atm, put cash in and come back. She then tells me that everyone in the car that drove me has to come in and be verified. Okay, fine, did that. I get to the end, and she says I can’t even use my debit card even though it asked for a pin when I put it in, and when I was typing in the pin she said that she had canceled the transaction and it wouldn’t do anything. Literally worst rental experience of my life, and I didn’t even end up getting the rental. Would not return here, and that cashier really needs to humble herself.

Rented a trailer to take some things back to PA from my parents home in Ravenel. The ladies were on point, very professional and when it came to hooking up the trailer; she did an impeccable job! I was quite amazed! (She thought my Ram’s air ride was dope when I lowered & raised it to make hookup easier!) I would rent from this location again without question! Highly recommended!

This is the worst location ever! Lots of stereo typing going on. If you are of the darker races, you will not have a good experience here. You are better off with Penske.

Have an appointment to pick up a truck this weekend. Had a couple questions and stop by U-Haul to ask. The associate who helped me name is Bethany and she was so polite and helpful. She answered all my questions and made some helpful suggestions. Thank you Bethany

Typical U-Haul experience. Tried to use the online system to make the rental check in process as friction free as possible. Don't bother. Aside from scheduling the truck, I think it actually wasted my time. Still ended up inside, waiting in line for the single (harried but friendly) employee to get the truck. Returning the truck online wasn't much of an improvement. I sure hope that was really an employee who took my key.As is typical with every UH rental I've ever been involved with since forever, it's always more expensive than you expect, so plan for that.They're so worried about you damaging their equipment, yet my truck looked like it had been abused by professionals when I picked it up.Their business model counts on you showing up already frazzled, on a schedule, unable to just walk out no matter how they treat you because, by that time, you can't quit and go somewhere else. You're committed and they know it. I'd love to sit through this portion of the employee training.It's sort of the U-Haul zen. Just try to embrace it and realize there's nothing you can do about it.

The people running this location are friendly, helpful, and provide very fast and high quality service. I've rented 3 times and never had an issue. They always check to make sure everything is correct and are ready to answer any questions.

The vehicles interior was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. The bed had trash in it and cigarette butts. The fuel tank was only on a 1/4 tank.

Bethany is the store manager and her customer service is beyond unprofessional. She blatantly hung up on me when requesting information. When I called back she said "Uhaul" and did not give her name. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. Then proceeded to say that she hung up because I was not listening to her. I heard what she said. She said I had to place a reservation and I was only asking if she had the equipment on the lot before driving to her location. When contacting her superiors I was informed that she was following protocol because she could be training new employees. Well if that is the case, she should not teach the employees to hang up on PAYING CUSTOMERS, and then she should also be teaching how to properly answer the phone. I did cuss at her before I hung up because she was beyond frustrating. Right is right, wrong is wrong. Be more respectful. Respect is due to everyone and when you are nasty and have an attitude, then they have every right to be nasty and have an attitude back. WITHOUT CUSTOMERS, YOU DO NOT HAVE A JOB!!!!

So helpful.. when I locked my purse in the van (after hours, of course), they had it in the office waiting for me the next morning. Manager is sweet. And the trucks are pretty clean.

I have never had a better experience with uhual than I did returning my trailer. The employee that helped us was so kind, made all the effort, gave wonderful directions and explained the process quickly and efficiently. Worth the drive from johns island.

Terrible service and experience. Booked a truck 2 days early for a move to Florida and showed up and they just casually gave my truck away to someone who happened to book same day and show up before me. No trucks left
