Rooms do NOT have an ice bucket or drinking cups. No coffee maker. Our shower only trickled but they got a service person up to replace the shower head right away. Nice fellow who fixed the problem.Nearby activities: Across the street from the North Charleston coliseum

Quality, consistent good service. Wife and I stayed here and everything was perfect. No complaints. Definitely will be our go to hotel when in the area.

I can not say enough about this hotel. We travel a LOT. We've stayed at hotels 3 or 4 times the cost of this hotel, yet the service here out ranks all of them. And it's not just one or 2 people. It's consistent amazing service no matter if it's one shift or another or housekeeping vs the person who preps food in the morning. No one acts like they hate their job. No short annoyed tones. Just helpful, consistent, kind employees. We are actually from the area but live in the Keys. We were up here for a graduation. Everything was spot on. There's a pool table in the lobby which was amazing. They sell some beer behind the front desk if you need an easy option. Full good breakfast.My only minor critiques are it would be awesome if the indoor pool were warmer and water pressure was hit or miss. Regardless, when we come back up to see our grown kids we will for sure stay at this hotel. If you want great customer service, comfortable beds, and a hotel you can be comfortable in, this is it!

The receptionist was friendly and professional upon our check in, although the lobby was hot and uncomfortable. My room wasn’t clean well, the refrigerator didn’t work, and the floor was dirty enough to keep my shoes on. The bathroom didn’t have washcloths and towels, and the shower had mold around the glass door. I was tremendously disappointed with my stay, and I wouldn’t book a room here again.

I chose this hotel because the rooms looked remodeled. During my three day stay, the toilet was broken two days, the came to fix it yet it was still broken before I checked out. The phones and window blinds weren’t working. The room was cleaned and breakfast was okay. I wouldn’t stay here again.

No towels. Failed to get them like they said. No trash cans, tv broke, no microwave. Not clean. Back door to come in broken. Room keys barely work.

Was suppose to get a handicapped room but got a regular room Had to pay $108 extra a night to go into a handicapped room which hadn't been cleaned. Has pills on the floor food on floor little ruberbands all over the desk phone area and floor. Hair in the sink shower had hair all in it and was absolutely fifthly. Does not like the handicapped. Room was supposed to be cleaned the next day pill still on the floor and food in same spot. Dirty linen. I do not recommend this Tru Hilton.Rooms: the room was so dirty. The regular room was so small. We had 3 people not even good enough for one. Shade broken was more like a 3.0 star hotel.Noteworthy details: What type of Hotel let's PILLS stay on the floor.

This was my least favorite visit with a Tru hotel ever. First, the halls don’t look welcoming at all. Next, my bathroom was not clean. The shower was disgusting. I never felt the need to wear shoes in the shower but after this visit I just might. Also, the toilet did not flush. It wasn’t filling up with water so I had to manually fill it to flush the toilet.

Location was great, employees were ni e BUT the rooms are VERY SMALL and the walls are VERY THIN. We could hear the whole conversation next door..ie no sleep

It was supposed to be pet friendly but I walked up to just check with my pet a lady sitting on a bench yeah you can't have a pet up by the bar okay come up and tell me personally don't yell at across the floor...Safety: There was electrical outlets hanging out inThat downstairs bathrooms.
