This is my number 1 braiding shop, for 1 they don't make you pay a deposit just too book an appointment,then they always start on time, Tina braids my hair. I came in to make a Wednesday appointment for next week but Tina ask if I wanted it done today, so I jumped on it. I was already having a bad day a work. So this treatment made me feel so relaxed. She always do a excellent job, the atmosphere is so nice and calm. The products she use are quality, I can feel them and smell them. I'm always a repeat satisfied customer. So yes I say go visit them.

Went to Tina's last weekend Saturday they did an amazing job on my hair the lady was very patient nice and extremely professional i recommend you go there and get your hair done i got jumbo sengalese twists !!!

I got my hair done on the 24th of Jan. This is what it looks like 2 weeks later. This is POOR SERVICE. If you know hair is too short just simple tell the client you can't do it.. TODAY IS FEB.7th 2024!

I came to the shop this past Tuesday and spoke with both Abby and Tina, and made an appointment for this morning at 8. Tina asked to see a picture of what I wanted and quoted $220 for the knotless braids. I agreed, we exchanged goodbyes, and I left, but then popped my head back in and asked about how long do you think it will take? Tina said about 3-4 hours. She's done my micros before and they took about 4-5 hours long, so I felt confident. Fast forward to today: My appointment was at 8am, so I walked in at 8 am only to find both Abby and Tina already engaged in a sew in and knotless braids, while 2 others looked on -waiting; me, making the third person waiting. One of the young ladies waiting was pregnant and asked if more braiders were coming because she had to leave and she was beginning to get claustrophobic! I just thought she was funny, until after 30 minutes of waiting! Finally at 8:40, one of the fair-skinned braiders with the face acne and colorful braids (she didn't introduce herself, so I don't know her name), walked in and received instructions from Tina and walked over to me and said I could come to her chair (middle from the right of the door). She asks to see a picture and takes it over to Tina, who in turns confirms -knotless, but this time she says $240. I told her that she quoted me $220 and she apologized and said yes, $220. Honest mistake, right? I was really trying to believe in them. During the service, the young lady continuously huffed and puffed, as if she was tired of braiding. I am not tender headed and my hair is a little past my shoulders, but she continuously grabbed and pulled on my hair roughly. I was very nervous when she did my edges. If I didn't know any better, I would say this was intentional pain she inflicted. She also kept digging into my skin to pull out baby hair, even after I told her that I don't wear my hair like that (I am 46 years old! There is nothing babyish about me!). When the service was over, the young lady pulls out her phone to take pictures, but I asked if I could see it first? She points to the mirror (I thought she was going to hand me one of the dirty ones hanging on the wall). I got up to look and wanted to cry! My hair was so spacy, and nothing like the picture I had shown. I said I wanted it long enough to pull back in a ponytail, but when I pull it back there is nothing but gaps. When I explained this and pulled out the picture again, this time she said the pic looks like box braids and not knotless. Of course I asked for the owner! Tina confirms that the picture is knotless and agreed that it looked nothing like the work. She said she would take $20 off and I could pay $200. That was a hard NO. I have to walk around like this! What I said was I will pay full price for you to fix this. She agreed, but said she couldn't do it today, so I said I would not pay for what I did not ask for. I showed her 3 other braiding jobs that she and Abby had done for me and told her how I was completely satisfied with the work and showed her payments on cashapp and how I even tipped them every single time, but this was completely unacceptable. Tina said she did not have time to redo my hair today, so being the empathetic thinker that I am I said I would pay $110. The young lady did braid my hair for most of the morning and into the afternoon, and maybe, just probably- she isn't a good braider. Tina said she'll redo my hair, but she had just said before that she didn't have time to do it today. She also told another lady that she was completely booked for Saturday (The lady had an appointment at 11, and sat there for 2 hours before leaving with her 2 kids, because she said it was very unprofessional to overbook and tell customers it will only be a few more minutes before another braider showed (and in fact didn't show until another 30 minutes or so-after this lady left!). I watched that lady and one of her daughters wait there and take a nap, until she had enough of the foolishness. Tina said pay her $220 and they would take my
