I highly recommend this animal hospital! The staff is exceptionally professional and welcoming. I called with an emergency for my dog, Remi, and they accommodated us with a same-day visit. Their prompt response and compassionate care made a world of difference. I’m very grateful for the outstanding service they provide.

Great first impression. We were looking for a veterinarian for our new Golden Retriever Puppy. When I called, they had appointments available, and we were seen the next day. We were a little early and were immediately helped and taken to an exam room to avoid the chaos usually associated with waiting room. After a short wait a very knowledgeable and friendly Technician came in to do the first assessment. She was very interactive and receptive to my questions. Then we were seen by the Veterinarian who gave our puppy complete examination and explained most of what he was looking for in a young dog. After vaccinations and home care instructions were given the checkout was from the exam room again avoiding any activity in the waiting room. This is our families sixth dog, and I was greatly impressed with facility and staff. The Animal Hospital of North Charleston is a new, clean, efficient and well-run facility.

First time coming to this place the staff and doctors where above and beyond helping my dog with her problem, she feeling a whole lot better after coming here! Highly recommended for anybody dog

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Thompson and his staff. We had 5 newborn kittens whose mother rejected them. Dr. Thompson and Tracy worked to stabilize them and taught us how to care for them. They gave us so much attention and so much time for the kittens. Everyone was wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone who needs vet care for their fur babies.

I cannot say this enough times: these people are the best. The kindest and friendliest.
Update June 2024:
These people are very kind and compassionate. They went above and beyond with my dog. They sent off cytology for a mass on my dog and then gave options for the next step. They removed the lump within the same week of getting the cytology results and within a week we got the fantastic news that my dog is cancer free! They have checked up on her multiple times during and after. Genuinely caring staff.
Everyone was very nice and helpful. Seemed very kind and knowledgeable. When there was a lack of knowledge, they expressed a desire to ask someone who would have better answers in that field. Very professional.

Their staff and vets are amazing. My little Sparrow cat is very anxious. They provided treats and kept him covered with a blanket during the exam to keep him calm.

Took my elderly cat in to get checked. The entire staff was great. Took good care of my sassy girl, and explained all testing, results, and charges along the way. No idea what the review from last month is talking about, they literally printed an invoice to go through with me before doing anything and I could have chosen not to do certain items if I wanted.

This vet office was quick to get us in for a sick appointment for my dog and communicated effectively with me the status of my dogs issue, showed me first hand the findings and showed empathy and encouragement for me and my dog in the treatment process.
