Didn’t take a Zara jean jacket or brand new fabletics sports bra and leggings set. I was sure they would atleast want brand names… Weird. Also never received a text message that my order was ready to be picked up. Will try other outlets or poshmark for better luck!

I have been so pleased with the customer service at the store. All the associates always welcome me as I am always in need of last-minute items for a commercial or photo shoot. Just recently, I went in the store to find a dress for a commercial print shoot for patriots point, Yorktown Website. I am happy to say that the dress of the young ladies recommended that I use for the shoot was actually selected for the footage. I highly recommend this location and will be back again.

I stopped into the store on 4/14/24 with two bags of shoes and clothing. A lot of J. Crew, Madewell, Gap and Old Navy. The merchandise was folded neatly and ironed - ready to go. The young woman who checked me out offered to buy 10 items for $22 - less than $2 an item. She then proceeded to shove all of my things back into the bags - unfolded. Just crammed them in there. This is the second time that I have brought clothing and shoes in and experienced the same thing. I thought maybe the first time was just an off day. Nope. I will NEVER shop this store again. I will never bring my things to this store again and will advise my friends and family to steer clear as well. Highly unprofessional and inconsistent. You can do better

great prices on shoes to say it 2nd hand but need more of selection. 2 pcs pants r skirt outfit, colors there mostly or just plain.

Clothes are a rip off considering the condition they are. I bought I ripped shirt and realized when I got home, I drove all the way back to return and they refused because I forgot the receipt but had the tag and card I bought. Not worth the gas to go back. Never again going to buy here.

I was the first person at the door before SE was to open up. Four minutes later, the associate unlocked the door to put the signage out. I could tell by this associate's glaring look at me that this shopping experience would not be welcoming. They had a few off-season items. I like how the selection was easy to find and nicely organized display. I had a keen eye for texture and fabrics. I could easily find many of these items at online thrift stores or consignment shops versus SE. I didn't see the value in most of the items.

Great place to get Like new clothes & accessories. Can also sell items to them for great prices!! Great prices and friendly staff. When in the area, we always visit!! Definitely recommend!!

I once worked in a store with a similar system to this one. I bought and sold a lot of clothes both in physical stores and online.
I think Style Encore is conscientious. They have a wide range of clothing categories and age groups that they buy from.
There are scattered reviews that say they did not buy even new items with tags, but the apparel industry changes rapidly, so it's very possible that even items that were just recently released are already past their prime. Also, items that are common and featureless are not attractive, even if they are brand new.
Aside from that, I love vintage items, so I check them out every time I visit Style Encore. I get excited every time I find a vintage Coach, vintage Dooney & Bourke, etc.

Some of the staff can be rude, primarily the younger ladies. I called a week ago to see if they were accepting any clothes and wasn't told that you have to bring your items in a certain kind of container. Then I came to the store, they were upset I brought my items in trash bags but one lady said they would make an exception and that it would take two hours. I leave to kill time then immediately get a text that they are done with my "Buy" so I call to see if that was in error and the girl on the phone snapped at me and was generally rude. So I came back and suddenly 5 people work there but make me wait while being ignored when I ask if I need to sign anything. One lady even rolled her eyes even though no one was assisting any customers. Finally one lady came over and politely explained that they are only accepting a limited number of items at this time but to come back after January.Definitely not coming here again. You're better off just donating to goodwill.

I love Style Encore North Charleston! Great selection of clothes and accessories, excellent service, great staff. Quality of clothing, shoes, and purses are outstanding.

This store is no different than Platos Closet. They don't want to buy clothes that are stylish but trending which basically dumb considering that they aren't selling anything barely.

I stopped in while grabbing lunch in the area. I was greeted by a woman at the counter who explained that the yellow tags were an additional 70 percent off. The prices seemed reasonable and I saw some really cute shoes, some of which looked new based on the appearance of the bottoms of the shoes, none were in my size unfortunately. I've never purchased anything from a used clothing store or consignment shop before but I saw some cute stuff and a large percentage appeared in good condition. My purpose for stopping in was to inquire about selling new unworn/gently used clothing that I would like to get rid of. The woman advised me they pay cash on the spot and once an offer is made one is not required to accept the offer. Additionally, they are not accepting summer clothes currently and are looking for fall ie. jeans/sweaters. The store was neatly organized.
