Tenea was our checkin receptionist and we are now sold on this hotel. She was very polite, professional and compassionate from reserving room to checkout. Matter fact we were here to give our son (who is a freshmen at Citadel) a place to sleep. Has been difficult first two weeks. Tenea allowed us to stay until he had to be back on campus. This hotel is a family friendly hotel. We will be staying here going forward. Thank you Tenea!
Rooms: Very clean, and free laundry which was very appreciated because my son had dirty clothes

Good morning Frankie of course I completely understand I'm not saying children with special needs or disabilities should be different I'm saying they should be watched by their parents, especially when their parents on the one selling the drugs out of the hotel okay that's what I'm saying, and I'm saying this because I have special needs children in my family did they were taking away from their parents they do any type of drugs or anything like that that's what I mean, so just take the time out to look more into your guest what special needs children because they don't deserve to be sitting out in the lobby for hours and hours while their father does who knows what and what knows what, the hotel is a very nice and lovely place to stay it's just very sad to see the things that I saw,

I work on the road alot and when I come to check in to hotels I try to get to my room as fast as possible to get some rest. Out of all the Staybridge hotels I have been to, this location has been by far my favorite. Alissa was very friendly and helpful. She had my room key ready for me upon check in. Was extremely informative and professional. Got me checked in really quick. The environment all together was very pleasant. The room was excellent. Nice clean room, the couch and bed were extremely comfortable. Will definitely be returning again to this location when I come back to work in Charleston.

I LOVED THIS HOTEL AND WILL BE BACK! First thing I noticed when i got my room was how fresh it smelled and how clean it was. Staff was amazing, professional and very nice. I needed a pitcher and had it to my room in SECONDS. Loved having my own little kitchen, Their Breakfast was yummy and I am on a Keto diet so had items I could eat. I knew my vehicle was safe when security comes every night at 10pm and does their rounds. Thanks CSI SECURITY. Beautiful, Clean, Safe, what else could a solo woman Need this hotel is a plus.

The people that work the front desk are the absolute best whether you arrive day or night. Pool is spotless, everything is so clean, Rosa was our housekeeper and she did an outstanding job. I can't articulate how perfect everything was.
Rooms: Very clean and quiet suites with everything you might need including pots and pans if you're staying a while. I will mention this to my boss for future work trips.
Nearby activities: Northwoods Mall, Carolina Ice Palace,
Food & drinks: There is a cracker barrel within walking distance. This part of North Chuck has everything from Thai to Philly cheese steak.

Staff is amazing, hotel is clean, late checkout is beyond generous. I am impressed and will be back! Close enough to Charleston. Choose this hotel! All the comforts of home away from home.

I rarely write reviews. But I have to tell you about the outstanding experience we had at this location- From c/in to c/out the staff were amazing - all very positive and.Attentive!! The room was very clean ( which we were skeptical about at first because the hotel accepts pets), and the breakfast options were few but good. There was a female employee who seemed to be everywhere we were. Don’t recall her name but her enthusiasm was infectious! I watched her greet everyone she came in contact with! All in all the experience was excellent! We will definitely stay there again!

The stay here was amazing! Deja at the front desk took care of us, from the time we checked in until we left! The room was clean, breakfast was great, and the location was about 10-15 minutes from the outlet! Thank you so much, and a special thank you to Deja for giving us awesome service!

Staff was pretty rude. Planned a family vacation with my kids and their gather We specifically wanted to stay at this hotel as we stayed here once before 5 years prior to this trip and we liked the fact it had a kitchen and room division, but upon calling the hotel to book our stay the prices were more than double than our previous stay so we checked around on other sites and found we could get a much cheaper rate through a booking site. We then reached out to the hotel again and informed them of the price difference to give them a chance to match it and then basically got yelled at by the call center employee that the booking site was a scam and he didn’t believe us, so we booked it through the site that offered the better rate. We had only planned to stayed one night due to our busy work schedules but still wanted to make the most of it. At check in we were surprised to be told we needed to put in a 100 dollar deposit for the stay, this was never mentioned to us on the sight we used to book the room, but we were assured we’d get our deposit back immediately at check out (the front desk person used the word immediately) so I scanned my card and we went to our room. The room itself wasn’t very clean, there was some black debris on the back of the toilet and near where the lid attaches. We were hungry and tired and it was late so we decided to just get some food and go to bed, the beds looked clean enough. I fell asleep earlier than everyone else and decided to go check out the gym because I enjoy working out. I came downstairs to see 2 staff members sitting in the eating area watching television. One of them spoke to me and I told her I was checking out the gym and she scoffed and made fun of the notion that i would want to work out. It made me uncomfortable so I went back upstairs and got dressed and headed outside as to not disturb my family. After a little while I came back in and we all got up and a few of us went to eat breakfast and we overheard staff complaining that their kitchen equipment was broken/not working properly and not being fixed and that the hotel kept “bandaiding” it but never really fixing or replacing anything. We ignored the comments and continued our morning. Then we watched a bit of tv upstairs because it was very overcast and we had planned to drive to the beach but the weather wasn’t agreeable so we needed to search for alternative activities. We finally agreed on what we’d do and we took out things to the car to pack it so we’d be ready to leave at checkout, which was 2 hours later. When we got to the car our youngest son mentioned he would like to swim before we left so we went back upstairs and they were already cleaning our room so we explained to him they’d already kicked us out and he was upset. I went to the front desk to turn in my keys and get my deposit only to be condensingly told it would come back in 3-5 business days and I was talked down too in such a way that indicated I couldn’t afford the stay. I told them the reason I thought I’d get it back immediately was due to what their coworkers had told me and they laughed at me. I turned in the key and turned to leave and heard them complaining about me as I walked out. I couldn’t believe how rude everyone there was. We won’t be back. We weren’t made to feel welcome or “at home” as the decor in the seating area suggested. Sad how things have gone so far downhill since our initial stay. Do better

The best service I've ever had at any hotel, that I've stayed!! The ladies were the best, with smiles and laughter! Helpful and accommodating! The rooms are beautiful and very clean, beds are comfy and they even had a small meal and drinks at 530 pm . The breakfast was good, even had my favorite, which is grits! I will definitely stay with Staybridge again! It's my new hotel go to, and I will look for them in every place I go! 5 stars from me across the board!! And affordable!! ❤️

Very nice, affordable, comfortable and clean hotel with nice staff, delicious breakfast every morning and social hour Mon-Wed from 7-9pm (free dinner). Conveniently located near whatever your heart desires.

The rooms are very clean and spacious and the beds are very comfortable for road weary traveler. The evening staff was very customer slfreindlt and checking was fast and efficient. Everything you want when you only want a hot shower and a bed.
