What a great hotel and a great stay! After a diverted flight and arriving 8 hours past when I was scheduled, I was greeted by the kindest front desk employee. Tia helped calm me down and really changed my day around. Then, for the rest of my stay, I had the absolute pleasure of interacting with Tiffany at the front desk as well as the lovely ladies working the breakfast (I regret not getting their names but everyone had a heartfelt good morning and were always willing to help with anything). Honestly, life can be hard and people can be cruel, but it really made me feel good staying here—such a pleasant and sweet vibe. The rooms were nice, big, and clean. The pool is small but I had it to myself most days so it wasn’t bad. Also, it’s really cool that there’s a coliseum arts center right behind with a ton of great performers! Really neat little hotel with the most on point staff.

We absolutely loved our stay at Springhill Suites in Charleston!! It’s a newer hotel. The staff are amazing and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The AC unit was a little loud but tolerable. Will definitely consider Springhill as I travel frequently.

We had an amazing stay here! Super clean rooms and great staff. Tiffany at the front desk was particularly kind and helpful. Several of the front desk staff are very rude, dismissive, and give off the general vibe that they hate interacting with people in any way. So why work at a front desk? Management was rude to us through the check in process as well, so the work ethic and people skills evidently trickles down... Goes to show how being polite and respecting your customers and employees go a long way.

The room was spacious and extremely convenient to the convention center. It's not close to downtown so wouldn't be ideal for a vacation there. The room wasn't well lit but for work at the desk it was fine. Also, I sliced the top of my foot open on the shower door trying to open it because it was wedged in a corner of the bathroom so awkward to get to, and the door was exactly aligned to the top of my foot. Clearly this was a fluke, but it was because it was poorly laid out and it didn't help my trip. Overall decent but not great.Walkability: Walk to convention center and grits restaurant just outside, but not to much else.

Great rooms, friendly staff, and the front desk were very helpful. I came in for an early check-in because we got to the hotel faster than we thought the other week, and she did everything she could to help and accommodate us. Thanks so muchRooms: Rooms clean and great setupNearby activities: Went to see a comedy show, and the hotel was right next door in walking distance.Safety: Safe need key card to walk in the none main entranceWalkability: To the restaurant next door and to the event center, you can maybe go to the gas station, but everything else you may need a rideFood & drinks: They have a 24-hour place to you can buy snacks at the frontNoteworthy details: Everything is close in driving distance

Came back to room at end of day, and it wasn't cleaned. Did get it cleaned after notifying Front Desk, but was informed that it was Marriott POLICY that rooms are only cleaned "every other day". We won't be back to another Marriott Bonvoy hotel until this policy is reversed!!Noteworthy details: Found out "the hard way" that rooms are cleaned only every other day!

I’m a titanium elite with Marriott as I typically book around 100 nights annually with them. I had opted in to a mobile check in as I didn’t have my wallet on hand and have successfully done mobile check ins prior where I’m able to do it all via my Bonvoy app. When I arrived at my mobile check in time the app didn’t give me a mobile key and the gentleman at the front desk was unwilling to talk to me unless I had my ID. I then asked for mobile check in assistance via the app and received no help.

Walkability: North Charleston Convention Center
