This would not be a service I would use to tow my car if I had a choice. I was hospitalized after the accident and was unable to pick up my car for 3 days. When I picked my car up there was no secure gate, the key was in the ignition and the window was left wide open. It was a cat walk to get to the door and it wasn't sure whether to knock or just enter as in most businesses. The counter person was smoking and the place didn't appear clean or organized☹

Honestly can’t say better things about Austin at Spiveys, he went above and beyond to assist me today while I was on the side of the interstate. Took me to a ford dealership that I thought would assist and when they didn’t he help me, he helped me find a place locally in the area that would assist and help me out. Great customer service and really appreciative of helping me when I had absolutely no clue of where to go!

Got dangerously cut off by your driver not once but three times between 26 and 526. Do better. I would never trust you with my vehicle.

Horrible towing company!! Parked my car in a completely different apartment complex. Does not answer phone calls and lies to customers.

Spiveys towing told me they would arrive to me at the scene of the incident bewtween 1-1:30 pm. The driver was not en route until after 4pm. The shop I was having it towed to was gated and had to have the car before 5pm. Spivey then cancelled my service without my knowledge or without even telling my insurance company, basically left me stranded there. You arent suppose to think amazing service when you think of towing, but these people go above and beyond to make sure you have a terrible experience and they do the bare minimum of their job.

I work at a local service shop - This tow company dropped a van off for us without notification .. The driver did not ask where to drop the van - The driver dropped it in the middle of a pass thru road between our 2 shops that is clearly marked with cones... When approached the driver seemed very agitated and started making excuses instantly(you have no spots- we should leave spots for tow ins,ect.....).. Told me we have people that can push the van to where ever I need.. In 90deg heat... One question would have solved this issue("where can I drop it?). I assume he was too lazy to get out one extra time to walk in and ask us.. He preceded to tell me he doesn't have to come back..... This one thing he is correct about -- When I ask for a business card, he told he is the owner - Not sure how a business owner can get by treating people this way in todays climate but, I guess he does.. We get 20 plus tow ins a week and have never had a driver drop and run off like this. I guess they do business differently where he comes from. I would leave 0 stars but it would not let me..

Called through roadside assistance, hard to get in contact with dont want to help. Brought the wrong truck when a flat bed was needed. I believe had I not been there they would have used the other truck which would have cause a lot of damage. I will not use again. Wish I could rate less than 1 star.

Terrible company, would love to drop names on how unprofessional they are but they never showed up to get my car. Had to contact a different company to pick it up. What a waste of an entire afternoon, thank god I made it to a parking lot and wasn't stranded on the side of the interstate I had just gotten off. Find someone else

Service was terrible. Said it would be an hr. to hr. and a half.4hrs later they still hadn't shown. They kept lieing to us and to customer service who rescheduled another tow co.

This is the worst and most unprofessional company I have ever worked with! Not just the worst towing company, any company! Would give 0 STARS if that was an option. I ASK ANYONE READING THESE REVIEWS, PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ THIS REVIEW. This will give you a real understanding of how bad this company is. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM!Recently I was involved in a pretty severe auto accident. 911, Police, Fire Rescue and Ambulance were very responsive and helpful. One of the services provided by the police is to call towing companies as soon as possible to clear the vehicles off the road. Spiveys Wrecker Service showed up to tow my vehicle. The accident occurred very close to my place of work which has a body shop and storage lot for damaged vehicles. I requested Spiveys to tow my vehicle to my place of work, less then a quarter mile away, and he said he couldn't. He said "It's not our policy and he would have to ask his boss". He came back and said NO, he would have to tow my vehicle back to Spiveys. I know the "SCAM" that is towing and storage relating to this type of situation. They tow the vehicle back to there lot and charge you or your insurance company, Towing, Storage and Other fees and make it difficult to get your vehicle back. Knowing that and wanting to be fair, I offered the tow truck driver $200.00 extra for the tow to tow my vehicle the 1/4 mile to my work instead of Spiveys. HEAR IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD! Spiveys tow truck driver leaned forward to me and said "DO YOU HAVE CASH?" I said "No but will pay your company $200.00 more then your normal tow bill to tow it to my work 1/4 mile away". HE YELLED, "F**K Y*U!", JUMPED IN HIS TOW TRUCK, DID A U-TURN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BUSY ROAD, FLOORED IT AND DROVE AWAY! Left me and my disabled vehicle in the middle of a busy road during rush hour. The Police came to me and asked "Where is the tow truck going?" I told them what the driver said before he drove off. The Police Officer did not seem surprised by that! Luckily I know a few Good Reputable Towing companies and was able to get one of them to come get my vehicle off the road. From my understanding these towing companies are on rotation with the police department, Spiveys needs to be REMOVED from this rotation. I understand they may not have made as much money as they would have liked by charging storage charges, but I did offer them a little more $$ to help. In the end the most important job in a case like this is to help the person shaken up from the accident and to get the disabled vehicle off the road and out of harms way. Also to help the traffic jam created. My very nice vehicle was totaled in this accident, I was more upset with this towing company then the person at fault in the accident. In case it matters to those reading this review, I was not at fault at all.Service: Vehicle wrecking
