This Spinx location on Ashley Phosphate Road in North Charleston is a very convenient place to stop for gas, snacks, and drinks when you are in the area and need to make that stop. It is easy to get in and out with exactly what you need so you can be on your way. The staff here is very friendly.

The primary reason I stopped by here is to get a fountain soda. But last 3 tries over 3 weeks have been failures. Machine seems to always need refilling..just get clear liquid when I want a diet coke. Well they beat me...3 strikes and I'm out. I'll never stop there again for any purpose.

Never felt more disrespected in my life by the new manager which short brown hair been going there for quite some time everybody in there is awesome so when I got my stuff and went up to pay there was an issue when I asked for the manager she laughed and said I am the manager so I asked for someone above her she instead she told me to get out of the store I haven't felt so embarrassed and disrespected for absolutely no reason I would like to talk to someone above her and talk about everything I will be calling headquarters tomorrow I give the new manager 00 stars and I will tell everyone I know that goes there to be careful because I felt scared

I never in my life seen a manger so disrespectful also she is new they really need a new manger or she needs some more training I won't be going there anytime soon until there is a new manger

Former Law Enforcement Officer, Waited 15 minutes for food nothing ready, Purchased Chicken Sandwich with Lettuce & Tomato Went out to car and looked at the sandwich and it looks like they took the lettuce & tomatoes (black & wilted) out of the garbage. I brought it back in and showed the manager and he said sorry about that. A person working behind the counter offered to make another sandwich. Buyer beware it appears they have nasty habits going on at this location. I told manager i would be calling his DM but he did not appear to care.

This review is solely based on their cold brew coffee. I went inside to get a nice ice cold coffee on one of Charleston's hot summer days. Not seeing any type of cold brew options at their coffee bar, I ordered one of the ordering machines. Clicked iced coffees and only got the option of cold brew which I know is a coffee steeped longer in cold water. While waiting for everyone else's order I noticed a sign that had cold brew and ice coffee listed with pictures. I was a little concerned that one was black and one looked creamy. Thinking the iced coffee was a speciality type I disregarded this sinking feeling. Well the lady making the food walks out behind the counter with a empty glass. Seeing as I'm the only one left I ask is that the cold brew which she replies with yes. A little concerned why she is walking out of the area I see her get ice from the soda machine and a bottle of milk. Thinking that might be for something else, I shrug it off. Well she mixes the milk with something in a gallon jug. But she seems to be consulting someone about her empty jug. Another lady walks out and asks if I ordered the cold brew to which I said yes. She mentions their mix is out and so my coffee might not taste as strong. Confused, I question why their cold brew even has milk in it and she says that's how we make it. I take a look over at the cup of coffee and notice a black blob on top the ice as if the bottom of this syrupy concoction has not fully dissolved and decide against ever ordering that junk again. I ask if I can just grab a hot coffee with ice and she said ok. Paid for a cold brew and got hot coffee over ice. Already waited long enough and probably won't be getting much of anything not already premade from a well known company.

Nice Spinx convenience store location right off Ashley Phosphate near Dorchester Road. I was in the neighborhood yesterday and thirsty, so I decided to pull into the Spinx for a cold fountain drink. Once inside the store looked as it is being kept up well and they have about everything you'd expect in a modern convenience store. It was clean too. The cashier was friendly and of course I was satisfied with my super sized fountain drink.

I have stopped here a few times for odds & ends or for a quick snack. The staff seems friendly & the spicy chicken tenders are delicious. Overall, I have no complaints because I have never had a bad experience.
