There is NO BETTER financial institution out there. Been working with them for about 10 years. My business and home are both financed here and I couldn’t be more thankful for all they have done for us. They feel like family.Thank you to everyone involved.

I went into the Branch yesterday 11/7/23 for assistance with my account there was an employee name Kelly P who treated me with no respect. She continued to patronize me and disrespect me in my face and. She was very comfortable doing it I have never had that kind of experience especially at a place that holds my money. She took me being emotional as a weakness and continued to abuse me . She showed no sympathy of my situation, she even lied to me about things on my account to make me feel like I didn’t know what I was talking about. Her behavior was of a narcissist and she wanted to prove she had power over me. I am going to close my account and go with another bank who have employees that have much better customer service . I pray she heals from what is making her treat other the way she treated me. I will never forget what she did to me. Her karma is coming.

South Carolina Federal Credit Union has been the best banking institution for me. The employees of this particular branch are knowledgeable, efficient, and quick at getting the customers served through their drive-through. If you’re thinking about becoming a member…do it!!

This bank like to hold customer money and release it on their time in the process. This is very inconvenient and so unprofessional. Also don't use the first ATM machine because it will take your debit card and they show no effort on fixing this issue. They also do not work with consumer inregard of a loan which is why I refuse to get a secure credit card to build up credit score. The customer service team need to get back better in this process

Very thankful for every service provided. I utilize SC Federal Credit Union for savings and loan accounts. They are sufficient in providing comparative interest rates and the convenience of online banking gives you the best communication avenues. Highly recommend them for every banking need!

The rate for the auto loan was ridiculously high. The dealership refused to abide by my request to get the money from my pre-approved loan, but I needed the car, and I knew I could refi. Now I just need to wait to refi. The people at the South Carolina Fed. credit union seem nice and helpful, much more so than the credit union that I currently use. I would stay with them if the finance rate was not so ridiculous. I even qualified for a no collateral loan at 3% less than what SCFCU offered. My only guess it the dealership is getting some sort of money out of the deal.

I read amazing reviews here and I was 99.9% sure awe will get the help we needed, BUT when I went there to ask for a couple of things, I spent the rest of my day TODAY 7/14/2023 feeling disappointed because the employee asked me to get a driver license from the state (FYI, I JUST moved here from a different state) I have been in the USA for more than 13years now from my country.I was confused and asked him, so I need a driver license from this state to get ******?The guy; “No, but you will need it anyway for the state!”I said; “I know that, but I came here to do this ***** please tell me what I need!The guy; “Only the proof of address!”(FYI this wasn’t Florida or DiSantis, this was an employee from this bank! ??♀️

First off let me say that I've been a so-called member for the past 15 years! However I very Loosely use the term member. We went in to get a home loan from these people and will never ever ever do business with them again. When we first spoke to them they told us that we had to pay off $1,000 a month in bills in order to qualify for a loan that we were looking at. I said okay that's no problem and they assured us that we would qualify for the loan if that was the case. However after informing them how much money we were going to put down on the home. 1 hour later they called us back but as soon as I told them that we were going to put $170,000 down on a $300,000 home, and then their loan officer said he would have to call us back. He called us back all right, and then everything changed he informed us that we had to pay off all our debt, including car loans etc etc. In other words, they were trying to keep us in debt. They wanted to make sure that we had just enough money to put down on the home and got locked into a high interest rate for over 30 years! I let's just say that I will be pulling all my money out of my membership at this so-called Credit Union ASAP. To make a long story short, we found another credit union there was more than willing to help us. They do not have your best interest in mind.. I've been a loyal customer AKA member of theirs for the last 15 years, and now I've seen the light! Don't waste your time. Just got a reply from their business manager, which is hilarious. As soon as I move I will be canceling my membership to the South Carolina Federal Credit Union. I understand there are a lot of moving Parts but to tell somebody all they had to do was we move $1,000 a month in debt and then an hour later after stating we were going to have half the amount to put down on a home insist that they pay off all their debts seems to me a bit extreme! All they were trying to do was lock me into a 30-year loan. Which is ridiculous if you have half the money to put down on a home. Again I will be leaving South Federal Credit Union we are supposedly a member and yet you're treated like an outsider. I've been there 15 years obviously I've learned my lesson. Now I will be transferring all my accounts to the credit union that approved us. Without trying to scam us! As far as talking about the situation and trying to make things right I don't see it happening so I'm not going to waste my time I've wasted enough time 15 years with the credit union. I'm not going to call just to have them try to justify the way we were treated within a one hour period! It's amazing how 1 hour can change 15 years of loyal membership! I am so happy that I found out the way you treat your so-called members. I've learned that it's all about money money greed 30-year commitment on a high interest rate! I'm not stupid
