El Camino has been there almost 7 years and is still not done. Keep hearing excuse after excuse. We have to go by or call for an update and seldom get an answer. Very frustrated. Deciding on best recourse

I would not recommend going here, everything was going well until I received my car back. Upon receiving my car back; the new paint didn't match, the battery was dead, the mileage increased 57 miles, there was ants all in the car, the gas tank was empty, my e-brake handle was broken, and there is damage to the trunk latch. I had to jump through hoops to talk to the shop and try to figure out what we could do about this, but after having to call them multiple times to see what they decided to do the owner himself denied all liability.

This is the third edit of this review. My recommendation is... Make sure *everything* is on the estimate - have them walk you though exactly what they are fixing (don't assume anything). Call and ask if they notice any other damage not on estimate. If you have a time estimate, call to double check things are still on-time. Don't make plans on the day you are supposed to have your car back (even after it's been pushed out a few times).Minus 2 stars: Communication. Pro-Tek's one and only phone call to me was that they had to order parts. They were never proactive in communication. I asked for everything to be fixed, but quote didn't include everything, so now I have to take it to another body shop to to get hood and passenger door fixed.Minus 1 star: On-time. EVERY time estimate they gave was missed (phone calls, fixing the car, returning the car, etc.)Minus 1 star: Car still has scratches on bumper that were part of estimate! They offered to take my car back and fix it, but I can't be without a car again.Plus 1 star: The work they did looks good (sorry I don't have a before pic). I could only extend my car rental to two weeks & since I no longer had a car, they delivered the car to me instead of me having to Uber to the shop. The final cost was less than the estimate.Service: Painting

Please read the reviews before purchasing.It's a shame that I am rating this place one star because the painter who works there is extremely talented. My customer service was absolutely horrible. I booked an appointment to get my door fixed three weeks in advance, and I was assured it would be done during the week I scheduled it for. When that week rolled around, I heard nothing and had to call Wednesday, to which I was informed, "Ah, it won't be ready until sometime next week." I was extremely upset because I was once again promised it'd be done that week, and now I would have to spend hundreds more dollars on a rental car. I tried to negotiate the price because the job was not completed as promised, and I was told, "Well, you've never painted a car, and that's how the world works." To which I immediately realized this shop does not care about their customers and all they care about is making money. So if you're looking for a shop to compete something ON TIME and work with you, then DO NOT use this place.Services: Body & Trim

Amazing experience dealing with this business. Tiffany, the front office manager, handled everything in a timely fashion and all I had to do was drop off and pick up. My car was cleaned and ready to go. Would give this business a 12/10

After being given an estimate of around $1000 for body repair I dropped off my 2007 BMW 335i at ProTek in September 2019, I waited two weeks to bring it in at their request, and delivered the body parts for the vehicle repair. They put my car in the yard where it sat for 80 days!They said they decided to change their paint booth. I would have kept my car in the garage where it has always been... but they kept saying they were going to work on it any day now and they had all the parts I had gotten for the car. So I foolishly took them at their word.I repeatedly tried to call and get updates on the status of the repair but staff there was very indifferent and unresponsive. The only way to get any information was to visit their site in person. Communication with them was like pulling teeth. No customer support from start to finish,Finally in January they started work on my BMW..... but stopped because they determined one of the parts I had brought was the incorrect part. They had the car and parts since for over 3 months but apparently never bothered to look them over.!!!!!! I shortly found them the correct part and brought it to them yet the repair lingered on.To make matters worse they parked the BMW back in their yard without tail light covers and the trunk and battery compartment were FLOODED by rain, and I was unable to start the car. A worker told me they would fix it, but two days later I had to go out there myself and drain the water myself ! No one had done it. Luckily I was checking on the car otherwise the entire electrical system could have been ruined!No apologies at all from ProTek. Their communication level and customer service is the worst from top to bottom. They take zero responsibility for their mistakes and and really do not seem to have any appreciation for their customers other than collecting as much money as they can from them.ProTek finally proceeded to repair the car , but on the final day of repair, "discovered" a dent in the hood that added $500 dollars to the estimate. They had the BMW and parts for 80 days and they could not give a complete estimate? I was suspicious but went ahead approved it just to be done with them. The bill ended up being twice what the original estimates was and the time was nearly 5 times what they told me they could have it fixed in,Throughout this time very poor communication from Tiffany the receptionist, KJ the technician, and Kenny the owner. They are not helpful people to their customers in the least.When the car finally was ready they called me to pick it up. No one came out and asked me how I felt about the job or if it was satisfactory. To make matters worse almost all the gas was gone, leaving only one mile worth of gas when I left, I had to rush to gas station and was afraid the BMW would run out of gas and damage the injectors. Really a bad experience for barely adequate work,I can't help but notice how many of their positive reviews do not mention the type of car or work done. Based on my experience I would never recommend to anyone to trust ProTek with their vehicle, Sad I had to write a negative review but I don;t want others to have the same terrible experience I went through.ped.K

They restored the headlights on my Porsche which had severe UV damage on the top which requires extensive sanding and recoting with a clear acrylic coat.They did an amazing job. The headlights look like brand new.
