Absolutely fantastic. We have used PODS multiple times and the Charleston, SC folks are just awesome. Ray, the gentleman who picked up our POD today was a true pro. There was a mix up on dates, so Ray had to navigate the fact the another POD had already been placed close to the one he was to pick up. He had NO trouble and completed it all with a smile and a handshake. He's a true rock star! Thanks Ray!

A POD is a POD, but the people make the business. Ray was so nice dropping off our POD in a busy condo complex. He made sure not to block entry/exit paths and was in and out in a jiffy. Really appreciated the effort to keep neighbors neighborly and such. I wasn't there for the pick up (so can't cite the driver by name), but neighbors said it was in and out the same. Great job and highly recommended!

We just had our house dropped off from Colorado Springs by Ray. He was amazing! We thought we misplaced the key in the cross country move so he didn't rush us when we were looking. He made sure we had it in the correct spot and were able to open before he left. Moving is stressful but his smile made it seem like it was all going to be ok!

The drivers were great! Super nice, helpful, easy going but hard workers. Customer service was pretty good. It was very easy to use there app for scheduling! Overall it was a very easy and helpful company.

Received quote for delivery and storage. When scheduled to pick up they said empty container. Quote was for storage center storage. Of course, to correct, monthly amount higher. Bait and switch. Plus scheduled pick up date had to be moved to next week due to container not being empty. Beware of the quote being different from actual cost. Live and learn, no choice since packed but to use but I hope they enjoy me as a customer this time because never again.

Everything about this service was terrible. They are incredibly untrustworthy, disorganized, and sloppy. We had so many issues but our BIGGEST one was that they had overcharged my account by an extra $955. They split up the payments and put a million small different charges on your account instead of a fixed total. They do this on purpose cause they’re counting on you to not pay attention and add up all of your numbers to make sure everything is right, and they upcharge you in hopes you won’t notice. The first call I made to resolve the issue, the representative hung up on me midway. The second call, they placed me on hold and then hung up on me again after 10 minutes. The third call, the lady tried to convince me all the charges were correct and I was not overcharged, and after a 20 minute debate she finally agreed my account has in fact been overcharged, and told me she put in a refund and to wait 3-5 business days. After 5 days I called back a 4th time, and they again tried to tell me there was not an over change and that there was nothing they can do except wait and hope it comes through. I had to demand to speak to upper management before they finally started putting things in motion. After 2 weeks I finally got my refund. That’s nearly $1000 they took from me just cause they could, it could have finically ruined me had I not had backup plans as they had already taken $3000 from me initially for my pod. $4000 gone just like that, and they were in no hurry to get my money back to me after learning of their mistake. They had also said I would get a follow up on getting an accommodation for the inconvenience they caused us, and we never heard back. The drivers themselves were great and friendly and communicated well. Customer service was the worst I’ve ever seen in any company or organization. It was disappointing considering how reputable they usually are. The moving pods are very convenient and handy for a move, I would just recommend using a more trustworthy pod company.

I only had one palette and they refused me to receive it I waited more than 8 hours for them to receive it Only one palette takes one minute to come off. I waited 8 hours No one helps anyone there and the treatment of people is not good at all There is no system for me to go there again. Pay attention

Makes moving out of town so easy. Delivery was simple and our delivery man, Mike W, was professional, timely, and placed the pod in the exact place I requested. Very impressive! Will use again for all my future moves and recommend to friends.

Great experience with PODS for my move from Hawaii to South Carolina. Took about 38 days during a busy time of year. They call you before dropping off the POD, allowing you as much time as needed to pack (I took a weekend), and then call you when they’re on the way to pick it up. Same with drop off at new location.Overall, aside from packing/ratcheting stuff down in the POD, moving your stuff is securely and seamlessly out of your hands from the price they quote you. Paying for convenience.. would definitely recommend for longer moves across the country.

The personal at this local location were amazing!! Roy Drigger and Crystal Allen in the distribution office went completely out of there way to assist me with the delivery of my POD. I give them high marks on there customer service. Roy spoke to his supervisor and made arrangements to drive by my home to determine if my POD could be delivered. Roy called me once he drove by and told me he could be at my home in 10 minutes to deliver my POD and did!! I can't thank him enough. Crystal was so kind to me and offered to say a prayer for me and even offered to come and assist me in unloading my POD. I owe both of them my deepest gratitude.

We moved from California and used PODS to store our belongings. First we kept the PODS in CA until our move. We were able to access our belongings and add more items. Then when we moved to South Carolina we were able to repeatedly go obtain items that we needed for our rental (while our home was being built). Crystal was wonderful to work with. She was professional, responsive and so nice she even brought us water since it was boiling hot outside as we rearranged things. Would totally use PODS again due to such great service.

We had an EXCELLENT experience w Charleston PODS thanks to their driver RAY who was professional, personable and patient. He alerted us when he would get here, keeping us informed. He dropped the POD on the driveway and made sure it was level. Everything went well and we are truly grateful to RAY. He sure made our day! I booked a pod for one month that should have been dropped off on May 24. Due to a scheduling conflict on their part, they couldn't drop it off until the 25th which would have sent us into the next months billing cycle. Which would have cost us another $460. Pods agreed to waive this fee due to it being their discrepancy and inability to accommodate the dates agreed-upon. We have still not received our refund of $460 and every time we call customer service we get the runaround saying it's in review. I find it very suspicious that this website shy's away from any email correspondence. Guess they don't want to leave a definite paper trail exposing exactly what they're doing, which is robbing us of $460 because THEY were a day late picking up our pod.This is absolutely disgusting and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The actual workers were great and this has nothing to do with them. I honestly feel bad for the HR department and the customer service representatives who have to deal with such shady practices and try to make them seem OK it's really messed up that they force these people to give us the runaround when it's obviously coming from higher up and if it was so easy to take out the $460 it should be just as easy to put it back.I would love an email from the company as to why this is still going on and why we're still getting the runaround about our refund being in a "review process", especially after admitting it was their fault and agreeing to a full refund. Irregardless of how much money anyone has it's totally messed up to take advantage of a customer when they're already moving between states, and spending a load of money by charging them for a full month because you the company were late a day.

Alex from Pods was excellent! He communicated clearly and effectively around his arrival time and discussed the process while unloading the Pod in our driveway. At the time we had another Pod scheduled for delivery in a couple days and Alex walked me through where it would need to go and how to communicate with the driver to ensure a smooth drop off. We no longer need to second Pod so I was glad to experience great service from Alex on the delivery this past week. Pods, in general, has been excellent to work with and I’ve already been spreading the positive experience to anyone who will listen. Thank you so much Alex and Pods!
