To start they do have good customer service and are helpful. That's about where the good ends. I got my bumper and passenger fender replaced about a year ago, since then I have found many errors. The fender has all sorts of paint bubbles, the fender has a messed up clip and cannot be fully flush with the body and the bottom part of the bumper is missing a bolt.

Palmetto Collision did a nice job repainting the front end of our Miata. Their pricing was reasonable and they were timely about getting it done.

Our vehicle was involved in an improper load accident, on 275 in Tampa. The vehicle in front of us didn't have tools secured and a metal squeegee and shovel struck our vehicle several places. I looked through several body shops in the Charleston area and decided on palmetto because of the reviews. When we got back in town it got scheduled and it got worked on. Insurance is a different story but we did not get what we needed and our deductible was never refunded back to us because the other insurance company is comprised of worms. The dealings my wife and I had with the two people at the shop were excellent. Our issue is the quality of the paint job and the attitude and response from the owner, which was dealt with in person by me. A business owner should never tell a customer how much money they've lost because a job hasn't been done correctly, but that's what this guy did and didn't apologize for it. The simple fact is their painter and their painting setup does not provide excellence. Two paint jobs and still tons of bubbles and tons of dust and dirt underneath the paint. The owner refused to repaint and said he would just buff it as best they could. We've decided to take this to the BBB and SC State consumer affairs office. These guys did very impressive body work on an aluminum body Jeep but failed miserably on painting and the customer service from the owner. I cannot at all recommend this place because of those two reasons. Every piece that they painted has multiple bubbles, shadowing and dirt under the paint. In over 70 places before I stopped counting.

My Ducati fairing new price was $900, palmetto collision made my damaged one just like brand new for less than half the price, on top of that, super friendly people!

I got rear-ended February 13th, and called around to get quotes and dates. Everyone told me May. I called Mike at Palmetto Collision and he told me he could get me in March 15th. I believe in local small business so was not going with a national collision center.
Mike and Palmetto collision went above beyond. He communicated every step of the way. Small, Family owned business, and they were amazing to work with. I hope I don't have to use them again, but you can guarantee I will recommend them to anyone.

They did a fabulous job on my car so much quicker than other shops were quoting and at a fabulous price. Their communication was great and they are very friendly. Would go there again in a heartbeat.....heaven forbid I need their services again! I recommend them to anyone!!!!

Mike is a life saver! Been calling/going to him for all of our car problems. Even though we’re not the most knowledgeable about cars, he still explains everything so throughly. Always tries to fit you in his busy schedule too. Best place!
