Northside is a warm and loving church where you are free to worship Christ and be fed truth from Scripture. The pastor exposes the Word without giving his own opinions.

About Northside Baptist Church
August 6, 1965: a small group of believers began meeting in a home in Hanahan united with a desire to form a fundamental, independent, Baptist Church.
October 4, 1965: they moved to the Park Circle Community Center and chartered the Bible Baptist Church.
February 18, 1966: they met in their first church building on Durant Ave.
1971-1972, they purchased land in the Ashley Phosphate area, built the new building, and changed the name to Northside Baptist Church. Some of the timbers from the original building were used to assemble the cross on the front of the sanctuary.
October 1975: Northside Christian School was founded.
Today we continue to be a church that preaches and teaches so that people may know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
